Got a text from this number saying that my well fargo card has been deactivated.  I don't have a wells fargo card.

so did I today, and an email.  weird.

They seem to be hammering Seattle tonight - got a text message from 206 913 7903. saying:

WELLS FARGO ALERT: Your CARD starting with 4868 has been DEACTIVATED.  Please contact us at: 206 913 7695

Same thing, 206 913 7695. I don't have a Wells Fargo card.

I had to cancel my card!  Also in Seattle!!

I got the text too and I also don't have a WF card... What's the scam?? Anyone checked with the phone provider yet? Are the rest of you all iPhone users too? Just curious...

just got this also.  The scam is along the lines of the card starts with 4868 as all their cards do, they are just trying to get snags so people will give them the rest of the numbers.  I got the text from +1-206-913-7903 but it says to call 206-913-7695

I also received the same text message. Also not a Wells Fargo customer. Also located in Seattle - so they must have used a number generator to blast the text. I notified Wells Fargo at reportphish@wellsfargo.com. Hopefully they can at least notify their customers.

As above, just received a Wells Fargo card cancel SMS from this number. I also live in Seattle and do not have a Wells Fargo card.

It's a scam. I reported it to the FTC and to Wells Fargo. Hope no one falls for this pathetic phishing expedition.

I am in washington state and also got this text.  I responded back saying that they were obviously a scammer and to get a real job.  Not sure if that accompished anythign but it felt great

Has anyone called the number? I'm tempted to call from my work phone and say something to them.  again, not sure if it will accomplish anything but might feel good.

scam asking for my wells fargo account number via auto. voice.  I do not have a card but if i did and was stupid, entering it would have given these [***] my info!

seems to be the wells fargo phishing scheme. annoying.
