Indicated that we received 3 certified letters concerning tax fraud from 2008-2012. Wanted me to pay now or see them in court!! Do not give any information.

Just received phone call on my cel phone from 206-965-8174 with recording saying it was the IRS and I needed to call them. Called the number and told them exactly what I thought about them and that I am reporting this to the IRS because this has already happened to me once in the last few months. This is a scam to try to get you to send them money they say you owe the IRS.

This call informed me that it was the irs and they were suing me and very important for me to call back. You betcha

I received a call just now from (206) 965-8174) 10/10; 2015 at 1 p.m. central standard time.    I did not answer it, but it looks like a scam where the person states they are from the IRS, as the above callers indicated.  I cannot believe all the calls I have received recently from so many unknown numbers, all times of the day and night. x

Same IRS scam.  Asked me if police had been to my home.  When I sad no asked, " are you sure".  I could not hear them well and kept asking for them to speak up, then they started asking me if I was arguing that I had done something wrong.  Truly awful experience.

Called me today (I don't answer unrecognized numbers).  Was a recorded message saying that they were calling to inform me that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and that I needed to call them back for information.

This is just sad.  I can only imagine people in a stressed out state of mine (many of us) that would be completely freaked out and call them back.  Thanks goodness for the internet and other victims writing to say this is fraud.

How do you go after someone like this.  Scammers can hide behind all sorts of phone numbers and change the number at any time.  There needs to be accountability back to a telephone number.

Just got a call from this number saying the same thing, "This is the IRS, you are being sued, you need to call back immediately." This is a scam! Do not call back!

Just got the call saying IRS is filing a law suit against me and gave a similar phone number to call back on.  Did not call. This is one of the scams that was on tv talking about calls made to the elderly.  The IRS would not be calling but send mail.

I am  a savvy scam  person ,,but I  can  see how someone  could fall for this,,,,,I even  told them I was an IRS  agent  and  I  would talk to my  supervisior  tomorrow  about this ....they  said  2 cops  would be at my door in 30 mins ,,to arrest  me ,,I said ,,,I`ll be   waiting ,,,,They said they  were in DC  ,,,Somebody  needs to close them down,,,,

Scam!  Someone from this number called my elderly mother and scared her into thinking she owed 4,000 to the IRS from 2004.  He wanted her to meet her at the courthouse.  He threatened to take her SS benefits. Scumbag!

Received the same call from 206-965-8174 and they left a message that IRS was filing a law suit. We called them back and some Dufus with a foreign accent answered. We asked for his name and what company he worked for. He mumbled and said the cops were going to arrest me. I said you are wrong, they are going to arrest YOU, or Vinnie would pay them a visit and he would be among the missing....He hung up. Stealing is an occupation today, We need to show people that these crimes are punishable by chopping off their hand when they are caught, then crimes like this in America will diminish considerably!!!!

This number was left on my machine.   Same message...IRS filing lawsuit.   I already have real issues with IRS!  Googled this number right away.  Found this site.  Scam-fraud.  I want them found and charged.
