After  I picked up and said hello, there was no response and then a hang up. I only answered because I have friends and relatives there in Maine.

I didnt answer cause ll numbers came up and i thougth that was kind of strange

they have called 2x and then hung up. i called it back and it wouldnt go through.

The first time they called, they asked to speak to my wife.  They hung up without giving me a chance to respond.  The second time they called, they spoke to my wife and told her that we qualified for a grant or free money.  The third (8/23/07) time they called 11:30 pm.  That person also stated that we have received a government grant.  He also mentioned that he worked for the IRS, in California, and due to high work volume they were calling in the late hours.  He gave me false information (phone #, employee id, and name).  Our last call we received was at 10:57 pm on 8/27.  We did not answer and they woke us up.  We have received about four phone calls from this number.

These guys are from a company called Advantage America. They scam people into thinking they get free grant money...ask for your checking account number to deposit the money into.....and proceed to take your money. I know..it happened to me. I went to the BBB, reported them and they sent my money back.
DO NOT GIVE ANY INFO!!!!!

We've received 3 calls from this phone number in the last three
weeks, today at 6:30pm, but the last call was at 1:30am.  They
did manage to get my sons acct. number and got $100.00 from his acct.
Bad people......

called about free grant money.  First I would have to give them some money straight from my checking accoutn before they would release the grant money.  Bunch of BS, do not let them keeop doing this to nice people like me.

A man called from this number claiming to be from the Treasury Department and were giving grants to our number.  Upon asking if I knew what I grant was, I replied, "Yes, a fraud, and asked him if he was from the group out of Orlando that had charges filed against them for this crap."  He hung up.  
Since then, we've been getting phone calls from that number at least once a day at all hours with nobody on the other end of the line.

man left mesage on my wifes phone sounded some thing this this " you mother F***er".

Same as above, claiming US Employee, You have money comming to you and all you have to do is give them access to your checking account for a one time fee and then they will deposit the money. The call over and over. I thought I was done with them a couple of years ago but they have started again. One other thing, every single person I have talked to sounds like they come from India. Strong accent.

called free gov grant monies, they call at least 4-5x daily all hours of the night and day, they called tonight at 9:30, I said hello and the gentlemen on the other line asked "could I ask you a question" I said what!  He said can i have sex with you? I told him he was out of line and hung up!!!!!!!  Also every person I have talked to sound like they are in India.....

This number comes up as 02070431263 on my cell phone.  Doing some research I found this:

From what I can gather London has a new International dialing code of 020 and a 4 digit number, hence
the formatted number would be 020 7043 1263.

So who knows where these idiots are really calling from.

I keep getting calls from this #.  They were asking for someone not at my number, and then tried to convince me they were from the government.  After politely but firmly telling them that I was not interested and to stop calling he told me I would be sorry and hung up.  He now continues to call and not speak.

this happened to my mom, same as above with the calls stateing that my mom has to tell dad that they were recieving money and needed his routing number, my dad has been in a hospital since april4th. and mom is 73yrs old. i guess they are trying to get all of their savings or what ever.she even recieved a post card stating about the money.

Every day they call..when I answer the phone, they hang up..
Finally, a late evening, a guy who introduced himself as an Employee of Treasury told me that we are eligible for some free grant and that our phone # has been selected randomly for this grant. When I said I am not interested for free grant, he started arguing with me and wanted to find out why I am not interested..I just said thanks and I am not interested in such free grants, I hanged the phone up..
Again today, I got call around 1:55 noon.. A big head-ache indeed..

I have no business with this number, and they are calling my cell.
