This numbers has called 9 time in the last hour and the message does not finish and it recalls and recalls... This is a business and this recording is interfering with our work day!! our number is on the national do not call list!!

No, silly, businesses are not on the national do not call list. Only residences.

Called our house twice this morning, once about 10:30 and once about 11. We did not answer and they did not leave a message. Unlike the ignorant hillbilly above, we ARE on the federal do not call list. And the state one, too.

Received 2 calls today on our business line. Caller didn't leave a message. CID just shows Wireless Caller

Just called my home phone, which is listed on the Do Not Call Registry, about being a restaurant owner.  I know there are days that I feel that I'm a restaurant, but...!  Reporting it to the Do Not Call Registry.

Received a call from this number on a business (unlisted) cell phone. Got to be a robocall. ID was "Unknown Name". Have just blocked it.

Was it necessary to disrespect the poster by calling them 'silly' in conveying your point? Let's all try to be nicer. Sheesh.

Posts like yours just show everyone your level of ignorance about how much you think you know but don't.

Just for your information, the Do Not Call list does work. All the legitimate companies who follow the law don't call you anymore.

So who's calling?

Ninety nine percent are scammers, con men, and ripoff artist who want to separate you  from your money. The other one percent are individuals and companies who think they are too small for the FTC, who oversees the list, to bother with.

Would you trust an alarm company, who is breaking the law by calling you, to protect you and your property? Give you a "free" alarm system just for putting a sign in your yard? Really? Like the guy on the phone is working for free and the guy who comes out to install it (if he even shows up) is working for free. Oh yes! Let's not forget that the parts for the alarm are free also.

Caller ID came up as "Portland" - immediate recording when answered about being a re-saler of electrical parts (which we are not) and credit card rates, etc. I love how it says right in the recording that "This is not a scam or spam call"... gee, OK.  :)

They show up as - WIRELESS CALLER (12072092580) they leave voice mail message every-time they call - they are selling merchant credit card processing and they are annoying - have had four calls in less than an hour each leaving a voice mail ... I am showing 52 calls from them so far this month on my phone logs

Robocall about bank card processing rates for small businesses. Caller ID said, "Portland, ME."

I wonder if thru selective call forwarding a person could have their call forward back to them?  Just an idea.

have received calls from this company # numerous times this week.  I have opted out but still get calls.  IF you listen to the message and pick 1 to get their service you get an ignorant recording saying  "this is the acme prerecorded recording company.  We know we called you today but dont call us back we really dont like it and we dont care if you don't like getting phones call from us but have a fine day.

We are on the do not call list star and federal.Told them never call again. Means nothing.Dont own a business. Still calls daily or more.

Just got a call from this number - ID says Portland ME.
Trying something new to slow these calls down because I do not want what they are selling.  
I saved the youtube linked below to my browser favorites.  It is a disconnected line sound.  When I see one of these number pop up I click it to play and then put the receiver up to the speaker.  I am interested to see if it makes a difference.  Can't make it worse.

A robo call recording. About some merchant credit card service.

Says "WIRELESS CALLER" when it called me. Called it back and 'opted out'... we'll see. My business happens to be on the do not call list, only because it is a home business...
