    This creep offered to buy a car from us with the - "I'll send you extra money ($20K)  by PayPal and you can send $1,500 to my agent" ploy.

    I smelled a rat and when he asked if he could proceed I told him where to go. Impolitely.

    This guy offered to buy my truck I posted on Craigslist via text message...I thought it was a scam from the get go and Googled the number,  glad I did!!

    Someone from this number texted me wanted to buy some furniture via PayPal, most likely a scam since the number is from across the country. I mentioned the word scam and they tried to argue with me about it.  when i told them cash only I didn't hear another word.

    He also texted us tonight regarding a car we have posted on craigslist. Says he is not new at this and will cover paypal fees etc and arrange for shipment of car to Maine from California. Copied this link for him and he stopped replying...
