received several disturbing text messages in regards to what my name was and how they had my number, I DON"T KNOW HOW THEY GOT MY NUMBER, and they wont stop texting me.

My wife has received a few text messages from this number. same crap as below, "hey", "just moved back to Portland from California", "I'm so confused"....... I called him from work, as soon as I explained why I was calling he hung up fast. Idiot.

I called this guy, as soon as I asked why he was texting my wife he hung up fast....weird.....one more text from this guy and I'll call the Portland, Maine PD.

Got a text asking "whose this?" didn't know the number so I didn't reply.

i called this fool, he answered and hung up quickly when i started talking..

he also said he was in "outlaws" biker gang, and from cape elizabeth.

got a text asking who it was. i had gotten a new phone recently so i texted back asking how they had my number and said they didn't know and they just moved from california to portland and found my number in their old phone...didn't respond after that.

I received a txt as well, asking, "Who is this?" I replied, "You txt me, who is this?" He replied, "Mike and you?"  Didn't give my real name. I said all you need to know is that my name starts with Mrs !  He replied, "I don't understand" and that's the last I heard from him.

He texted me, "Whose this?" and I didn't reply.

Jess, My name is Sgt. Andrews and I work for the Damariscotta Police Department here in Maine.  I received a call  from a local female who received a disturbing text message from this Mike.  I called him and got hung up on when I identified myself.  Any info you have would be appreciated.  Please contact me at 207-380-9008 ASAP.  I will call Cape Elizabeth Police Department and see if they are familliar.

and am posting this got a call from this number asking who is this ? I called number and he hung up on me or couldn't hear me so I had husband call him and he hung up I texed him saying well ur number showed up on my ohone and asked whos this ...so who are u ..he texted back when I don't recall texting u so I haven't replyed but am going to call my cell phone company and report this number they might be able to track him

I have an account on plentyoffish.com and this guy popped up and was very adamant that I text him so he could text more pictures of himself... He's claiming he moved to maine from California and has a 7mth old son.

I came home from work, and he messaged me 2 more times saying "text me 207 415 9968"

this guy just sent my sister several texts- trying to get her full name, where she lived, occupation, kept saying he was "confused" and it was driving him crazy- he just wanted to know who she was. apparently he asked her to friend him on facebook-here's the link...  http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002049319218
