In doing some research it seems that this is a scam.  They offer a $100 gift card if you pay $4.95 in shipping with your debit card / checking card information.  Other reports have shown ring once and hang up - never leave a message.  

That's exactly what happened to me. The call from this number rang one time & hung up. Unable to have a chance to leave a message. Thanks for posting the info. One more block about to be added. This helps!

Rang 1/2 ring and stopped. Didn't even ring long enough to leave vm.

Got a call from this one. Having friends from Maine I called it back n got a "this number is not in service" recording. *shrug*

Same as above.  1/2 ring on my cell phone and immediate disconnect.  Sounds like a scammer who doesn't know how to use google phone numbers.  Probably calling from Russia.

Called - didn't leave a message - I figure if legit, they would leave a message.  I do get worried when I get calls after a major hack (Target / Home Depot) etc.  I figure the info is out there and now they are "fishing"  

Sounds like a 'person' who is working for 'work-at-home' scam who are required to make a quota of calls per day, and not really wanting to push the 'product' so they let phone ring 1/2 times and than hang up.  So they get a certain percentage for quota of calls made, whether they make a 'sale' or not.  People need to get a real job.

1/2 ring and hang up then no message. Call back and suppose to be out of order! Not a good thing cause limited amount of people have my number so must be phished spammers.

That just happened to me too, one ring and hang up. I always look the number up!

Just got a call from this number, it rings once, and they hang up on my cell phone.
Called it back, it says disconnected number. Added it to the auto reject list on my phone
