Started receiving calls.  Do not answer, do not know this number.  Blocking.

Called 3/4/16 7:24PM We do not answer unknown numbers. They hung up during answering machine greeting, as usual. These scammers calls are getting closer to home, even using a legitimate local business number several times in the past month. They are getting more annoying than the televised political debates. Thinking about using the call forwarding feature and sending the scammers to the local branch of the RMC & DMC, suggest you do the same if you are so inclined.

Got a call on the landline, ID came up:  WESTBROOK,  ME  207-464-4125.  Hung up when ans machine got the call.

These scam numbers:  207-555-6599 and 207-464-4125 came through on the home land line.  Both hung up when the ans machine came on.  We fight back, we called both back on a Maine State Gov't number and both calls went into a recorded message that the number is out of service.  This was just minutes after a call came from those same numbers.  Scammers think they are clever but get nervous when a call to them comes from a government number.  We do this all the time just to burn them.

not a scammer, but a caller from the Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) effort, looking for continued support regarding a bill to kill RCV in the House.  I was a proponent of this when they were looking to get a referendum going, and therefore I am 'legitimately' on their call list.  Perhaps the others on this page are as well, but didn't make the connection.

But yet you did a search of the number anyway?  What would be your reason for that?  After all, you claim you were a member of this organization, yet you didn't know their phone number?
