Phone disconnected when I answered

I received a telemarketing call from this number to my cell phone.  It was from Maine, but the caller said it was Home Security Network of Irvine CA calling.  I will be reporting it to FCC.

Just got a call now. "Answered" but I didn't say anything. Just heard silence, and then they hung up.

They called me with a recording talking about installing a security system in my house and said hit one to get one now so I hit one and told the guy to take me off the calling list. I think this guy has called me before

This is an automated robo call with a pitch for home security systems from a scam company. Robo calls are now illegal. If you receive one, especially on your cell phone, the company is breaking the law just making the call.

How do you think they will be when they perform what ever service they are offering? They are crooks. Period.

You can try to get them on the line and find out the name of the company, then report them to the FCC and the FTC. You can also report them to your state's attorney general's office.

Called in the morning, with a message about the FBI reporting home break-ins.

Operator identified company as "Home Security Network" doing sales for ADT.  She said the company was in California.  When I asked for a supervisor, she said she was the supervisor.  When I told her automated calls were illegal, she didn't respond.  Gave me a call back number of 949-486-7598- a disconnected number.

If you call the number back there is an option to be placed on their do not call list.

just got a call from this number. called my daughters cell phone, dont let me catch whoever it is calling. boys o boys mister man , they had better not do it again i tell you. i will be reporting them right away.

Just got a missed call and then they called again few minutes after it. It's rather annoying can't wait to report it :)

This phone number acually belongs to a bank of phone number with the numbers of 207.512.2290 throiugh 2299.  I am a private investigator and a client asked me to find out more about this phone number.  They may be related to another collection agency (that I won't name).  If they don't get a hold of you, they will use this number.  Many people are not answereing debt collector phone numbers so debt collectors are resorting to new telephone numbers to that even if you call from a frieds cell phone that they don't have a collection dett open for, the number you call will not be identified to you.  So now they are saying that this is a telemarketing scheeme.  Try answering any of the phone numbers some time and see who it is tht is on the other end.  Intersting what they are now doing.  

These bank of phone numbers are unlisted.  If you call them back from your phone number that they tried to call you on, they "trap" your phone number and compare it to the phone numbers they have an open case for.  I am sure they are not happy that I am posting this.  My thought is.....if you are a legitimate company trying to reach someone, then be up front abouit it and stop playing games.

Missed call on cell phone from 207-512-2294.  It's now programmed to get ignored, thanks to this list!

I keep getting calls at my desk # all the time, from different area codes!

Got called - called back. First thing the message says is if you want to be on the do not call list, press 1. Did that. Message then says it may take 24 hours to remove your #. Seems odd that it's the first thing they talk about is getting off their list....
