I am registered with a do not call-yet this comes thru!!!

Same here, they have called me numerous times, something about the FBI and home break-ins. The area code is Augusta, Maine

This is bs!!!! I had the SAME security comp calling me from a different number...every tme i would call it back, it gave a message of "if you would like to remove your number, blah blah blah....and i did what it said to do to have my number removed....YET.....they still called repeatedly so id call back every time and THAT number finally quit showing up, only to have these schmucks calling from this 207-512-5230 number. I am on the do not call registry and I STILL get them....I am filing a complaint with my atty generals office and i recommend that you all do the same

I have been getting it for almost a month off and on.  I am on the do not call list.  I had to file bankruptcy last year.  I owe nobody.  There is no reason for anybody to be calling me.  I want it to stop also.  You say to call the attorney general?  I will.  I never pick this up.

Calls to offer home security system via automated message. Shows up as Augusta, ME but the same company calls from Pawtucket, RI - 401 365 6267. No amount of "remove me" requests or the fact that I'm on the do not call registry deters them from calling.

Its a new technique collection agencies use to collect debts......use a dummy bussiness call to get ur name to see if its the person they are looking for ,cause most people say this isnt the persons phone they are calling for, even if it is, cause they dont wanna talk to people they cant pay....its just thier way of making sure they have the right number, and once its confirmed , they will start calling u from the collection number  relentlously,... so if u have a collector after you.....dont give these bogus bussiness calls ur real name when they ask for someone else.
