Called my cell phone, left a message offering to eliminate delinquent Tax Debt to the IRS.  Just a boileroom robocall selling garbage. Voice Spam is what I call it. do these people really expect someone to take them up on their offers? Probably just trying to steal your private information.

I received this call, but this person didn't leave any message, I am afraid it is scam.

this number called our store and the caller ID said "Maine". There was no one there. I have been getting these kind of calls on my personal cell too but from different numbers that just display the state. There is no connection with my cell and the store (cell is a track phone!!), so unsure how they are getting the info. All scams.

Telemarketing from "Maine" who offers to eliminate back tax debt. I pressed "1" to speak to somebody, but it said all users were currently on other calls and to "speak clearly" and leave your name and number to get a call back.

I left my name as Wiggems, and gave them the number to the Chicago Police Department. har har har

Has called several times today - comes up at "Maine". Does not leave a message. After reading comments from everyone else, I won't be picking up.

Constantly calling.... I just registered on the Do NOT call list.  Hope this eliminates this annoying calls!

robo call saying they are calling about back tax debt to the IRS and Pres Obama passed and *CLICK* i hung up the call.  Another spam/scam call. Caller ID says Maine

Answered call from this number; immediate hang up when I said hello-no one ever answered the number when I called back.

Don't forget to file a complaint with the National Do Not call registry.

This number called me, didnt leave a messege, and then when I called back they picked up and hung up.

Annoying phone calls

Only the number came up on the caller ID, I'm glad I found other people that have received the same strange phone calls...I will not be picking up the next time they call!

We are on the Do Not Call list and received this unwanted call today. They did not leave a message but an online search indicates they are calling to solicit customers for IRS tax debt relief.

I gotten calls from the 207 numbers back to back and this is one of them It shows Maine on the I D 207 512 5290 . I'm on the do not call list but it seems these  numbers doesn't apply.
What ever happen to privacy on our phones. We have to pay a big price for our phones and this is what we get Telemarketers and Scam Junkies.

Just received a missed call from this number on MY CELL PHONE.. I don't recognize the number so I came here and typed in the number to see what information was listed.  Thank you all for such great insight on this one.. The information provided in previous posts proved to me quite useful.  What I dont understand is that I have my numbers registered on the DO NOT CALL LIST, and yet I am still receiving calls from numbers and scammers like these.  What is the purpose of the DNC List if these companies can still call you?   On a lighter/funnier note: KUDOS to you "Chief Wiggems" (post from Feb 9 2012). That is a classic move, very ingenious and yes the Simpsons are a classic..

Calls 2 to t times a day. very annoying. Robocall "Hi, this is Debbie". . ."Hi, this is Sarah". . . Pretty disturbing, since I actually DO owe back taxes!
