Craigslist - Pay Pal Scam!

I was selling my car on Craigslist and a guy advised me, through txt messages, he wanted to pay using his PayPal account. I gave him my email address for PayPal. I then got 4 emails from "supposedly" PayPal stating I needed to get a MoneyGram of $4500 and mail it to him to release the money in PayPal. In the email, it listed what he was going to pay me + $100 service fee and $900 agent fee (or something like that). I questioned this, since and knew what the rules for PayPal were and he called me a thief when I told him I thought is was a scam. During this process I called PayPal to see how the money transfers worked. As I was on hold, their messages were telling me what to look for in the emails scams. First thing the recording said was the first thing I saw on the emails. He also advised a shipping company would be picking up the car. When I asked where it was going, he stated Wisconsin. In the email, I was supposed to send the MoneyGram to a guy in Texas. This all occurred on 13 Sept 2014.

I am selling a boat on craigslist priced at $4500.  I received a text from this number, reportedly a man named Lucas, stating he wanted to purchase the boat and pay through paypal.  He said he lived in Maine and was going to have a purchasing agent come to pick up the boat.  I attempted to call the number but no one answered and there was no voicemail set up.  I then received a text stating he was deaf and could not talk on the phone.  I provided him with my paypal email address and he contacted me again and said he was unable to transfer money to my paypal through the email address provided.  He asked that I create a Yahoo acct and link it to my paypal so he could make the payment.  I created the yahoo address and texted him the info.  I have not heard back.  I then googled the number and found this scam.  I contacted my bank and I contacted Paypal to ensure no fraudulent activity on my accts.
