Got 2 missed calls from this number in the last hour. No voicemail left from whoever it was.

I have received 2 to 3 calls per day this week from this number.  The first time I answered they claim to be from Microsoft and said I was having computer problems.  

Just received a phone call from this number, claiming to be the Microsoft Technical Department.  I know for certain they are not.  They are trying to get access to your computer!

Just received a call from this number the caller claimed he was from Windows Technical Department. I asked about if he worked for Microsoft he replied "no".  He wanted me to log on to the internet and give them access to my computer.

The first time someone tried this with us, my husband told them he didn't own a computer... Technically this is true because everything regarding the computer itself is in my name... The person on the other end hung up pretty darn fast. *giggles*

When they called back about a year later, I answered the phone and had a guy with a middle Eastern accent tell me the same thing. I told them if they really knew about any problems I was having with my computer, they'd know which version of Windows I was using. The guy on the other end didn't answer it, he kept saying he "was trying to save" me "money", and after he said it for the fifth time, I told him I was alerting the RCMP (I'm in eastern Canada). He hung up awfully fast... I don't think I stopped laughing for a good hour after I did that... I know, I was bad, but listening to them freaking out because they knew someone was on to them was just too funny!

Someone called stating he is from Microsoft stating that I had virus on my PC and he wanted me to turn on the PC so he could help me fix it. I said I didn't need his help. He insisted why sir? it is our Job to help resolve virus issues. I said please don't call again and he hung up.

I just receive a call from this this no." 207 598 4867, a Jeniffer Winston" she called herself!!!!!!!!
She was insisting to help me "quickly".She said next to your "Ctrl" on the left hand side bottom corner on my key-bord is this button, next to it the "Windows strart button" , I must press this button >>> "What do you see sir ?" I said nothing! Why? She said >>>dont you see a block tha is empty sir?" I respond and said what is your Company ID No.? And your security no.? She said I am Jeniffer> I ask her to spell that to me. I hang the phone up trying to get rid of this call. She called again from the same no. Asking again these questions I tried to Keep her busy, trying to see if something else would pop up from her??!!!!  She spelled her name again about 5 times keeping myself totally stupid. I said to her straight I am going to notify the police because this is a scam>>> Hang up and she did not call again........

They have been calling me from this number for several years. They will can 2-5 times in one day and then maybe once a week then nothing for months then they start up again. They say they are from Windows Technical support and that I have a virus and they can help me clean up my computer. They always ask me to log in but of coarse I don't. I tell them i am not giving them any of my info or access to my computer and then to take me off their call list and then they hang up. BUT they always call back. Once I screamed and cursed (what do you think I am F'ing dumb. You just don't get it. I have asked you to stop f'ing calling me.) They just keep calling tho!

I received 4 calls today from 207-598-4867.  They never leave a message.  It is a scam.  They are trying to get access to my computer and say they are from Microsoft.  I told them many times in the past that I use an Apple mac book pro laptop.  

This number has been repeatedly calling my house and I tell them I'm not interested and to take my number off the list. They haven't and its pissing me off

Yes I did.  I could not understand her said something about my computer.  she hung up.

Keep getting calls from this number. We are on the do not call list.  

Got a call today from this number. Said my computer had expired and they would fix it. Said they were with Windows, which I knew was not true because of the phone ID as U.S. Cellular. Guy got very rude when I told him that I knew he was not with Windows and that I knew nothing was wrong with my computer. Then he got nasty and vulgar and I hung up.

This number calls me, a woman says she is with Microsoft she has an East Indian accent. I tell her to quit trying to scam me and she starts asking how old I am? After screaming this question at me, I scream a few back and hang up. I tried to call this # back within a few minutes and get a recording saying this number is no longer in use. Pretty suspicious ...

Nice to know that Illinois No call list is in action.  These people are big scammers, call twice a day and any one who does not recognize this is not a US accent and background noise is crazy.  This is not windows but a call center trying to get information.  These people need a real job

called 4x today  answered claiming to be windows technical support and wnated me to link my computer to their site,

caller ID said US Celluar,

This number has called my house phone three times in the past hour and a half. I shut off my answering machine and did not answer, so I do not know who they are claiming to be. Comes up as US Cellular. Very annoying and disturbing my children's sleep. It is 8:40pm right now.

got a call from this no it comes upa cell phone no the person said they were calling about my computer that it was being hacked etc.. they were from windows inc. BS it is a scam hang up.

Took call from this number. The representative did not identify who he was looking for and went directly into his script regarding being from "windows computer." Complete misrepresentation. He obviously did not know who he was looking for because he guessed what my name was; which he got wrong. I explained to this individual with an East Indian accent (who identified himself as "Simon") that he called a wrong number and to please place me on their internal do not call list. He absolutely refused and told me that he and his company had every right to keep calling my home. I called him a piece of crap and he called me a [***] and a$$hole. He went even as far to say that he would threaten me with bodily harm. WTF?! I would seriously like something done about this but it frustrates me that our government agencies wont lift a finger to stop this type of call.

I got a call from them today, when I said I wasn't interested and wanted to be removed from the call list he kept insisting.  So I asked to speak to his manager.  He proceeded to tell me to f*!# off.  He said it several times before it sunk he what he was saying (his accent was thick).  When I said "did you just tell me to f*#@ off"?  He said "yes, do you understand me F*!@ off you bloody B*$%#".  I asked "who he thought he was calling my home and calling me names". He told me I was dumb and unlady like for repeating what he said.  I tried calling the number but it says it a non working cell phone.  I'm going to do some more investigating on it.
