I am getting a minimum of three unsolicited calls at all times a day from this number (Wireless Caller,
207-712-2220.). When I call back the number (in an attempt to get them to remove me from their list), I get a voicemail message from them telling me they called me because my name was randomly selected from a list of some kind. They say I can talk to/contact "a staff member" but when I try to reach someone (as instructed) I get a message saying their mailbox is full. They identify themselves as "Maine Opinion Surveys" but a search of such yields no clue as to their identity or purpose for calling me. I am SO tired of receiving unsolicited phone calls several times a day! I am on the Do Not Call registry, but this seems to be ineffective. All I want is for them to leave me alone! Stop calling me! I am not interested in and will not participate in ANY polls, surveys, or telemarketing of any description!

I have the same problem as the others here.  Several times per day, but I do not answer.  Unfortunately, they are not the only one.  It has gotten so bad, that I don't answer my phone unless I recognize the number and want to talk with the caller. The other day, one of the robocalls on my CALLER ID left MY name and number!  Luckily, I had recently read an article about that, warning people not to answer that one either.  Seems that by answering, you somehow set it up so they can use your number for calls anywhere, and you pay.  It seems that today, you have to be aware, alert and suspicious at all times.

I keep getting three calls a day from this number. How can it be random , like they say if I get them 3 times a day. I just got one and when I hung up it took about 10 minutes to be disconnected from them. This is so annoying. I am also on the no call list . What part of no call do they not understand. Also it is a computer that is doing the calls and questions. I to will not answer that number but I am sure that they will keep calling . The next call will be to the better business bureau if I see that number again or better yet I may call a maine representative three times a day to give them my opinion about their opinion polls...... Sorry I needed to vent.

We are getting calls from 207 712 2220 and they are not talking when the phone is answered.  They have called us every day and every night now for a week.  This is the first place I have found that tells anything about the number. If it is the dang survey number I have talked to them, or actually listened to a recording from them and hung up. I think someone did speak one time but again I hung up on them. It does not matter that we are on the do not call registry either.  I think it is from some campaign office.  I refused to have a visit in my yard when someone like this from the government tried to visit.  I told him not to come any further, he looked at my two little dogs and left. lol  Can anyone tell us how to keep them from bothering us? I don't know how to call block.

We have been getting a call from Maine Opinion Surveys every day for a week. And yes, the mailbox is ALWAYS full so we can't say take us off your list.  Very frustrated!  Also we got the call that said the call was from ourselves!!
If anyone has any way of stopping them please share.

I have received two calls in the last hour (7:30 pm, 7:40 pm).  Is this some annoying political group.  One cannot get through an evening without being bothered by this number and many others with some outrageous reason.  How does one stop this???

I have also gotten repeated calls from this number and several others despite being on the apparently useless Do Not Call list. I normally do not answer but made the mistake of doing so today. However, no one speaks. I also have a strong suspicion that they illegally spoof numbers to try to sucker people into answering. I think we should consider a class action suit against these bozos!

Put the blame where it really lay's, with the criminals and illegal telemarketers.
The DNC works just fine. It is for telemarketers only and honest business does indeed abide by it. It is the criminals (which includes illegal telemarketers), frauds and scammers that do not. However, the Fed. DNC does not cover some survey's, Political or Charities.  You would need to check your states DNC laws to see if these are under your states DNC laws.  The fact remains that they are not automatic call blockers though and can not protect you from the calls that are criminal, illegal or fraudulent.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone..  You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.

    Report your callers here:

Re this number and others that have no caller ID, if I'm THAT curious I effect the voice of a very elderly person.
"Huh huh hullo, hullo? Is this the police?" There'll be some response. "Hullo? Police? I'm all alone. I think he's dead."
Invariably, some nut case will begin some spiel. So, "Who -- who are you? Are you the pu - police? He's bleeding."
Sometimes a response is, "No, but I'll get off the line so you can wait for the police;" but usually, the caller hangs up.
Never have I had a repeat call from the same number IN THE SAME DAY. Another day? I'll assume another whacked-out character voice and have more fun.
