Spam call. to reduce credit card

Put an add on Craig's list and revieved call.

They called so I listened and pressed 1 to get an operator! The operator answered saying "Financial Services" in a woman's voice. I told them I have no credit cards and she immediately hung up!

I swear I block one of their numbers they spoof another, and the entire do no call thing, and file a complaint with the fcc does not work.

Damn--onto my cell phone now.

Almost answered because i know people in Maine and don't expect spam on my cell phone. But I let it go - no message left.

I also got call but did not answer.  Obviously spam.  Recently posted my cell on Craigs list?

I am also on the do not call list, but apparently have inadvertently put my # somewhere I now wish I hadn't.  I only wish I knew where. I didn't answer the call.

WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are   B I G   credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever!

do not answer - I let it ring and they didn't leave a message. If they're legit, they usually leave a message.  Scam.

the call was silent. this is disturbing because the phone carriers allow it, they could suspend these numbers easily. They choose not to because there is nothing in it for them $$$. When the FCC holds renewal hearings, the complaints should pour in. Suspending utility privileges would get some action.

They called twice -- when I didn't answer the first time, they called immediately after.  I didn't answer the second time either and they didn't leave a voicemail.  I'm on the do not call list but that doesn't work.  I get weird calls all the time.

Received a call this morning on cell phone - didn't answer. I don't answer out of area calls anymore. BTW, the "do not call list" is a fairy tale lie....

Same thing - no message left.

We have to report these numbers to the FCC in order for them to look into it.  File a complaint like I do for each and everyone I get!  Maybe then something will be done.

I get calls from all kinds of scammers daily..........the "Do Not Call" list is such a joke!  But we have to file reports to the FCC on each and everyone of these calls......maybe then something will be done about it.  Call came from 207-738-5788

I get at least one call a week, always from a different area code and number. Initially I blocked this caller but soon realized they change phone numbers frequently.  The only thing I have found to be effective is to simply hang up.

This number called a burner number I used to set up a Craig's List account. I did not make that number public and certainly didn't put it in an ad. Wondering how they got the number. Something is fishy, Craig's List.
