They gave me a simple fire safety test, and then said I would receive a free meal at a restaurant. 2-3 days later they called back and gave me the name of the restaurant and said that I could invite more couples and they would have a short movie afterwards. I bailed out then....

Why did you bail...what do you think they are selling. We got a call also and I am very leery and do not want to go, but I'm wondering what they are up to! eas

same deal here, seems like a scam

I had the same call. She told me if I did the 45 second, 3 question survey I'd receive a gift certificate to my favorite local restaurant.  I did the survey, she asked my first name, then told me they would call me back when they made my reservations and hung up.  She never even asked me what restaurant I wanted.

I dialed the number back and it did ring through, suggesting an actual company.  I asked why I received the call when I am on the do not call list.  He basically said they don't look at it and offered to take me off of their list.

I don't know if this is the same outfit, but I have friends who did go to a similar fire safety dinner presentation.  They try to sell you an alarm system charging $300 for $30 alarms.

I just received a call also saying if we watched a short video on fire safety they would give us a credit for a $100 for groceries or gas!!!!!!!!  Sounds to good to be true so think I will not proceed.  Has anyone ever gone thru with this?

Just got a phone cal from 207 859-8700. They wanted me to watch a fire safety video and in return I would get free batteries for my smoke detectors, $100 bucks in gas or a resturant of my choice!

Dont think so! I think they are just trying to get into your house to scope out what you have!

Got a call from 309-634-8092 and was asked to take a fire safety survey.  Stupid me, I did.  Thought it was kinda strange when they asked how many people lived in the house, what my husband did, my age.  None of that has to do with fire safety.  Was promised a free meal at a neighborhood restaurant, then he hung up.  No company name was mentioned. When I called the number back, it went to a cell phone voice mail.  What have I done?!  Now I'm paranoid that I gave away my info to some kind of weird-o.

this number has called me many times. no message. when machine picks up they hang up. i am on no call list. i called it back and left message.

This on is probably ok as we had this happen and had a nice meal and a short presentation on home fire safety , No sales and your choice  of more info at a later date NO PRESURE. An enjoyable evening Company New England  Fire Safety  Not a Scam

I also got this fire survey questions, but when they asked for name that's when I hung up them. Since then, couple of weeks now, they have been calling couple of times a day. Can't get rid of them. This morning's latest's call I have asked them to put me on the no-call list....which I believe I also did a few days ago, but still calling.

I went to the restaurant for the free meal it is not a scam you go you eat and they give a sale presentation on fire safety to promote their smoke detectors I am a electrician and the product they are trying to sell was very impressive the problem is they don't tell you the price instead they try to get you to make an appointment to meet at your house they are sales men and make their money selling this product although its seem like a great deal they have to be very costly to buy these and they don't even give the price on their web page.

They were very polite and sent tickets for a dinner and safety training. When they called back to confirm and said that my husband would not be able to attend due to work, they told me I couldn't attend, married couples only. What's with that???
