I was called by this number several times. No one says anything when I say hello.

More call keep coming.......with all the hang ups, I am concerned someone is trying to find homes to break into.  With all the crimes happening....I wouldn't put it past them.

Again today, several times. Can the phone companies do something about this?

They have called me twice today.. No one answers, just hangs up weird..

This number called my mom's house looking for me. My mom asked to take a message but they had none. Everyone I know knows my cell #, so I thought it was weird for someone to look for me there.

Just got a call from this number, said it was someone calling about the upcoming election.  I asked about repeated calls, since we've gotten about four or five today, and he said he'd make a note of it.

This number has called my house several times every day for the past five days- never leaves a message...

This is a marketing firm out of Bangor who is funded by Maine Taxpayers Taking Charge.  It is an effort by the owners of Oxford Speedway, former owners of NHIS, to push for a casino.  I am on the do not call list so in addition to calling me many times and hanging up, they are breaking laws.  No doubt they have a mailing list from attending past races in Louden.  Report them if they call!  I put them on Facebook too!

Correction!  They are not the owners of Oxford Speedway, but the owners of Oxford Fairgrounds.  If you are tired of receiving these calls......  call them.  I did and I called the Attorney Generals office.  Here is the contact information if you would like to stop getting these rude calls:

“Unfortunately, someone or some group of persons is apparently making unauthorized phone calls and leading people to believe that they are connected with our YES on 1 Campaign. We want to assure you that 1.) these calls are in NO WAY WHATSOEVER connected to Maine Taxpayers Taking Charge; and 2.)we are taking this matter very seriously and are contacting the Maine Ethics Commission, as well as the Attorney General’s office.  We are also working in cooperation with FairPoint communications and other telecommunication firms in Maine to investigate the source of these calls. This type of activity is completely unacceptable to us and we are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. We thank you for your patience, and we understand the frustration expressed by the victims of these malicious calls. Randy Seaver is the media contact for our campaign, and he is continuously monitoring this situation, but again neither he, nor anyone at our campaign is connected to these malicious and unacceptable calls.”

We receive multiple calls from this number daily.  There is never anyone on when the phone is answered.  Also, if the call goes to voicemail, there is no message left.

I must concur with Randy above.  I just spoke with the campaign leaders at Maine Taxpayers Taking Charge.  Someone, and it will come out who eventually, on the opposite side is calling people, stating they represent this group, then are being rude and offensive.  All appropriate measures are being taken to flush out this group.  The Attorney General, Fairpoint and law enforcement.  The subversive group who has taken this measure, is in violation of the law.  In this day and age of technology, they appear unaware that they cannot fully erase their tracks.  Just a matter of time, you will see.  Very few places to look to root you out.  Good luck with that.

Thank you to those at Maine Taxpayers Taking Charge for taking time to speak with me and address my concerns.  If anyone is getting these calls, as of yesterday caller ID now is 000-000-0000.  They have abandoned the original number.  Try to get any info you can from the caller and report it to the Attorney Generals office.  I am quite confident now that Maine Taxpayers Taking Charge are running a clean and above board campaign.   So everyone can stop calling Randy now.  Let the Attorney General and Law Enforcement handle this matter.   What ever dope is trying to pull this off is too ignorant to know the consequences.
