OK, heres the POOP on this TURD making these calls:

This is a telemarketing firm hired to sell this internet TV service in a pretty low and underhanded method - are we surprised?

They call and say you can get a $100 Walmart or Target 'rebate card' - notice I said REBATE and NOT Gift Card.   They then ask you some "survey" questions in an attempt to make this into a survey call and not a telemarketing call, but that gets blown out once they finish their "survey" and hit you up for the $6.95 "FEE".
NOW - we're a sales call.

Oh yeah, those "survey" questions...they kinda look a lot like "if you answer "yes" to any of these, we're gonna sell your  number to any Goober out there willing to pay a buck for a 'lead'."
Such as:  Do you have any home repairs that you'd like a free estimate on? Do you want a free quote on an alarm system?  Are there any diabetics in your household?  

Back to the call deal and this 'fee' we were discussing, they said this fee was to cover the "processing" for the "Rebate Card".  

Well here's the low down on the low lifes - they're really selling you a MONTHLY subscription to this internet TV service with some really LIMITED viewing choices (see sidetick.tv for this info).

They do tell you that you can call and cancel, but they never stated to me that they would be billing me $6.95 per month - every month.

BUT, and there is AWALYS a but, that's not all folks!  You can also get billed EXTRA fees for watching their 'premium content' - and you'll know it when you get your card statement - cause there will be some EXTRA fees on there for those.   They couldn't tell me what "those" were, but they knew they were there!

They gave me a number to the customer service department of 877-731-8207 should I have further questions.  But they closed at 5 EST, so I'll have to wait until in the morning to call them for some additional low down.

The call back worked on this number, and you can get to a live body to ask questions, but they don't know a lot.  

I think it would be nice if they would just come clean and operate like an honest business.   Why hide the fact that you'll be agreeing to a monthly, recurring subscription?   Why not tell people UP FRONT that this really ISN'T a processing fee, but a subscription to their Internet TV service?

I did ask them why they were calling a number that has been on the FTC Do Not Call List for more than 4 years?  They had no clue.  I think my State Attorney General's office will be giving them a clue here shortly.   Probably in the form of a cease and desist letter.

As for the $100 "rebate card"  - don't hold your breath on that one.   You have to buy your items ONLINE at either the Walmart or Target website until you build up your $100 credit - that could take more time than I have left on this planet.  (My Walmart spokeperson was NOT aware of any such card or deal being sponsored officially by Wal-Mart, so I have to doubt the validity of this claim.)   I think it was a figment of the imagination of some tele-terrorist to try and get more people to sign up for this fee in order to (hopefully) someday obtain a $100 rebate.  I think it was also designed to intentionally confuse people into thinking they were actually getting a $100 gift card.

Nice try, but honesty would probably do them much better in the long run, but this deal was just for short term gain - from the looks of the site, and the limited options for viewing, this deal is probably a DoDo bird just waiting around to be told it's extinct in some official capacity.

Received three calls from this number today.  I don't answer and just let the answering machine pickup. They just hang up each time.

keep getting a call from this number but when i answer nobody say anything.

they even called me at 1:00 a.m. and at 1:30 a.m. both on the same day. They are a pita (pain in the a--)

Got a call and they would not answer so I hung up, I am on the No Call List for over 3 years.  I have read the above comments, someone needs to hunt them down like the dogs they are and cut off their scum bag ways!

Got calls from this number for the past three days, sometimes they called more than 5 times a day. What or whose number is this? So annoying!!!!!

Recently got a call from this number (208-228-0066) which, since I didn't recognize it, I let go to answering machine and they didn't leave a message.  When I finally remembered to look that phone number up, I found your message...and I'd like to thank you for the cogent and detailed explanation of your discoveries.

Even though I had to clean up my keyboard when I spit coffee laughing at "tele-terrorist"...a new and valuable word for my vocabulary.

Receiving a call from this number daily - so much for the "no call list" I have been on for nearly 4 years!!  Caller ID just says "Rigby, ID". I  have not wasted my time answering!

3 calls in 1 day, the machine picks up and some lady just says hello, helloooo.

I too just got a call from this same number. When I answered they just held the phone and then hung up without so much as speaking a word.

Just got a call asked for some mines? I instantly spoke, "Excuse me there is no one here by that name" (in a rude tone) and please remove (click the phone goes, she hung up) ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, do not call these number back for it will only heighten their ability to attempt to reach out to us!
