Got a call regarding a lost/stolen debit card

Got a message saying my debit card was frozen and I needed to call them back.

It was a recording stating my debit card was blocked and asked to press 1 to speak with fraud. I work for a bank and know how to recognize a scam. This one is blatent.

They called me twice, 1 minute apart.  I didn't answer the first call, so they must have programmed their computer to keep calling.  If I ever find out who did it, I will pay them a visit with my AK-47.

Rec'd phone stating my debit card was frozen, did not specify any banking institution. After searching the number it show s it belongs to counseling company in Boise, Idaho. Must be a scam.

Fake call stating my credit card was stolen

I just received a call stating that my debit card was frozen and I needed to press 1 to reactivate it. I just hung up. Weird thing is I just switched to Vonage with a brand new phone number a few days ago, so not many people have this number. Odd.....

Calle me twice saying my credit union debit card was blocked. I don't have a credit union debit card!

This number called me and I answered. Robot voice identified itself as Growth Financial and that they were calling to report my credit card as lost and that if I wanted to reactivate it press #2 and they would transfer me to their security department. After a couple of seconds the call automatically ended.

I don't have Growth Financial therefore they shouldn't have my contact information, plus everything about the call just seemed wrong. Beware.

Just received a call from this number on my cell phone, looked on internet, comes up Grace Counseling.  Recorded voice said something about my debit card being frozen:  Press 1 to talk to a security person - blah blah blah.  I knew it was a scam right away.  Not 3 minutes later, my husband received same exact call on his cell phone...these people need to get a life!

Received call that my credit card has been frozen and to press 1 to talk to a representative.  Pressed 1 just to see what they'd have to say and it ended the call.  No company/bank named in the message.

Just received a call from this number on my cell phone, looked on internet,   Recorded voice said something about my debit card being frozen:  Press 1 to talk to a security person - I did press 1 and no response..this is the second call in 3 weeks.. I called back the number. tape said it is not a working number...Ihate this ;such a waste of time....

Hit my work cell and my wife's personal cell. How do they get these numbers?!

robot voice purporting to be from Growth Financial Credit Union, some blather about a lost debit card.  Obvious spam call fishing for my personal info.

Got a call from this number at 3am!!!  Stating they were from Growth Financial and that my debt card had been frozen, press #1 to be connected with the security department.....I did not press #1...got up went online and found the other posts on this same number - HUGE SCAM!!!  At 3AM - seriously!!!!!!

Got the text msg at 3am also... GROW Financial confirms it's a SCAM!

I actually had just used an ATM a few minutes before I got this message. Talk about a coincidence!

Got at call at 2:00AM....same thing.....  Another # has used our cell phone with the same garbage.....When will this phone stuff ever stop!  Thank goodness new phone has call blocking

Got a call at 4:30 in the morning on my work #. No message recorded. Scary thing is that I do have an account with Grow Financial credit union.  How did they get my number? This is a security breach.

At 5:15 am today, I received a recorded messege supposedly from Grow Financial stating that my debit card was frozen and to press 1 to talk to security. I went back to bed!!!!!!
