It is Feature Films for Family or FFFF. They pretend to be a non-profit organization but they are not. It is a business like any other business. At first they say that they are conducting a survey. Something about safe to watch ratings for movies.
After that they are trying to sell you their movies. If you sell something you have to comply with donotcall list.

i'm on the do not call list yet they call

We are on the do not call list, yet they call repeatedly. It is extremely annoying to try to sleep in a bit and have these morons call on Saturday morning;  and that's not to mention at supper time several nights a week.  They should be put out of business if they continue this behavior.

They keep calling our house asking "for the lady of the house" and don't stop. It is annoying.

This is a recorded message that answers you with pre-recorded responses.  If you ask it if this is a recording, it says no.  If you ask it again, it just laughs.  If you ask it again, it says no.

Called me, reporting this number to the BBB.

Same thing as all the people before. My solution, I will cancel my Bell phone line. I am paying CAN$ 40 per month to receive on average 7 calls from Telemarketers. I will start using my mobile more since I do not get any unsolicited calls there.

I received a call earlier on Saturday June 2 by them. I personally never answer a number I don't know.

She asked to speak to the lady of the house; then asked if I was involved with children or grandchildren to which the reply was yes.  Then she said she would call back.
Appparently if we strike the # key 6 to 8 times it will kick our phone No. out of their system... is that true?  Does it work?

Phoned at 12:40 pm but didn't leave a message.  Second call in 2 days.

"Cammy" asked to speak to the lady of the house, went about unsafe ratings, etc.  Didn't catch on until I caught the pauses inbetween questions.  It's an intelligent computer that tries auto-replies to common questions.  After asking a couple odd-ball questions to interrupt her rant and getting the same "I'm sorry, can you hear me clearly?" response, I realized this was a scam.

That address seems to fit the bill, as they use the same business name in Utah in the States. (even though this call specifically came from an Idaho area code)

There is a US, Canada and UK contact on their site.  I'm not willign to risk future phone call and email harassment, perhaps someone here is more willing to stick their neck out? :)

They have told me that I have been taken off their call list, yet they still call!

They have called about 4 separate times and I keep getting a long pause after I say hello...which I use as an opportunity to hang up. I have a Telezapper installed but doesn't seem to make a difference with these Bozos!

I am tired of these people they think we are stupid. I never answer my phone if i don't know who they are. This is one more "company" of the other numbers and companies i get in my caller ID. I suspect they are calling from outside the country and they belong to the same group of people. What they don't know if that they can call the "wrong" number and get caught:)I am working on it.

I went to http://www.familytv.com/ and asked to be removed from their calling list. I received an email from them this morning that I was removed from the list, but received another call from them!!!!
I responded to the email advising them that if this continues I will need to take action under the current legislation governing the do not call list. Hopefully this works if not I will be reporting them.

Here is the info to (1) register your number for the Federal Do Not Call list and (2) file a complaint against these bozo's if you were already registered.
