Caller id said Jerome, Id. rang 3x, only dial tone when i picked it up. Our cable/phone co. only lets 8 "harassing" calls blocked. I don't have extra funds right now to buy a special call blocker.  

I use Voip.ms for my phone service which allows for unlimited call blocking.

Missed the call and called it back. After I gave my name they said I had purchased an item from one of their retailers and was eligible to receive a $100 gift card of my choice for a shipping amount of $4.95. I did just purchase DIRECTV and Cable One internet and the # came up as a legit business through sprint so I'm going to look into it more and see if its for real.

I just purchase the cable one internet service, missed this phone call and called it back to get an automated message saying I was eligible to receive a free 100$ gift card with shipping and handling. But it hung up before I could hear the rest of the instructions/message. I have not researched anything else about it.

I received the same message about 100$ gift card but I never purchased anything.  It's a phishing scheme. This company called me on a free WiFi texting app off Google play.  I only had the number for 3 days before they called.  I think they are trying to get info to use my debit card.
