They contacted me about my electric wheelchair for sale from another state.  They wanted my name and address and could not spell correctly.  I told them I only deal with someone local.  This is not the only scam contact I got for this item, I forgot the same thing happened the last time I put this on craigslist for this item.  (A larger purchase item).

I posted an item for sale on CL and within minutes I got a response from this number.  I'm in WI and the response was from Idaho.  They would not talk to me by phone because of medical reasons. Hmmmmm!  Scammer!

tried to paypal scam me over a craigslist ad for a power chair

I have a power wheelchair for sale and the exact things that the folks previously wrote about this number has occurred to me. I have kindly informed them that the chair is no longer for sale. Also the email they used was bethannrufus@gmail.com

Craigslist scam,would not talk ,only text because they said had ALS  tried to get Paypal #  SCAM SCAM!  

Received a text from this number staying they were interested in my power scooter on craigslist. I texted back asking if I could call but they said they only text/email due to als impairment. They wanted to know the condition & price of item again. Then said they trust my word and want my full name & address to get a shipping company to come pick it up. I said I don't do business from home and would be glad to meet somewhere but she said she lives in Idaho. I told her no.  (Bethannrufus5@gmail.com)

Same thing here. Got a text for an electric wheelchair with the same number and the same phone number. DO NOT REPLY TO THE TEXT OR EMAIL.
