Got a call this morning and no one at the other end.  Tried calling back and it rang busy

I am on the Do Not Call list but get these calls several times a day.  There is no way to call them back to tell them to stop calling.  It is very annoying to have these type of robocalls being made.

yea they called me,,the thing every1 needs to do is ask more questions and keep them answering them,,they stumble and cant give any straight answers...
1-what is your web page---they answer--A-its under construction...
2-how long have u been in buisness--A--we are a new company
3-where are u calling from--A--mid west,,etc,,no honest/straight answer
4-if they dont speak good english ask why are they calling and how did they get your number--A--we are hired to contact customers that may have intrest in what we offer...
5-do you guys have a contact number --A-- No,,but if anything u need I can answer right now...
6-what is your extension number--A--extension??---(note many hang up b4 getting this far)
7-how is the weather---A-- oh its wonderful etc....
8-what are u selling--A--- we are not selling anything...(lie,they will request ur credit card info if they do not already have it-and yes u buy off line the company u buy from sells ur card info to 3rd party companies and they can use ur card without ur premission,happened to me b4....
This is the best part,,these are telemarketers and will stop at nothing to make money so be kind and say
9-You say  You know if every in America can keep you guys tied up on the phone for more than 15 minutes and don't buy anything you telemarketers will go broke in a month......(this is true)
If the unlucky sucker is still on the phone by now he will hang up....
****Next step is every1 contact ur local politicans these crook companies hide behind bogus computer calling system and we cant track them down,,our own government will protect the I.D of these companies and will not allow u access to their locations as it being a privacy issue,,to protect the crooked companies that phone spam and steal ur I.D's,,and our local laws will not enforcement will NOT do anything to stop this,they claim its too hard to catch them,yet its just that our government refuses to do anything,we have to force our politicans to do something b4 u guys become a victim of telemarket frauds like this...
* I had my id stolen by telemarketers and used 1,000$$ on my cards b4 i closed down that account.the money was returned but the police,and banks refused to press charges,stating it was a waste of time...
***Dont buy anything online if u do,do a background check on the company and make sure they have a customer service number,web site and location of the company,,sum web sites like the Provillus (fake hair restore product) and Knight Sticks (cigarettes) have web sites but if u look closely,,they only have order contacts,,no customer support,or real web pages,and no number or addresse for customers to contact them..these sites are set up as order now sites,,all information given to them they sell to 3rd party companies that end up harrassing u costing tax payers billions in $....
***I been researching sites like these several years and fake telemarketers.Many offer grt deals,gas crads,wal-mart gift cards,target cards etc,to make a sell and it cost u loads of $$$ in return..
***CONTACT UR BANKS AND LET THEM KNOW TO BE ON ALERT FOR ANY TRANSACTIONS THAT LOOK DIFFERENT****

Keep calling me and hanging up. sounds like a computer.... no one ever answers

Call repeatedly. Will not leave a message. Hang up after 4 rings. Whwn I finally answered I got a female saying Hello several times in a noisy room, then she hung up. I tried to call back and got a message to punch 1 to be removed from the list, so I called it from another number and punched 1. This is probably only validating my phone as a working number toi continue annoying me. I am havint the phone company block this number.

I got a call from this number today and no message was left, but I did hear noise in the background......I am so sick of reporting these numbers to the Do Not Call list and it doesn't seem to do any good!

Called this morning and knew my name.  The guy on the other end was in noisy room and said that he was calling about fire and home security.  I told him that i was not interested and that i was on the do not call list.   The guy on the other end said " but sir there is something very important that i need to tell you.  Your wife has bought you a casket.  Then he started screaming it over and over into the phoe.  Probably the strangest telemarketer call i have ever gotten.

Already two calls today from this number. First time no response when I answered. Second time woman with an strong foreign accent I couldn't understand. I am on DO NOT CALL LIST and have filed complaint. I am now keeping a list of the calls.  Do not know what they want or what company they are with.

I get these calls often. no response from the other end.

If politicians don't want to do any thing about this problem, maybe they get a cut from money made from the scam.

I agree  at 10:24 am the smorning i woke up and some one was calling me the number was 209-220-1907 and who ever was calling me called me 83 times and i got soo annoyed so I tried calling back and the distance was too far away so I pu tthe hone down and it rang 4 more times! OMG HELP I THINK WHO EVER KEEPS DOING THIS SHOULD BE ARRESTED BECAUSE PRANK CALLING IS NOT COOL!!!!!!!!!! I want to beat the crap out of who eve is doing that

They just called. They new my name and kept repeating my name and then started breathing in the phone. I kept asking who they were and they never said anything. Then they starting using the F word. I hung up.

They are calling my company phone. I answer but no response on the other end. This is annoying and I have valuable folk in the service world that depend on me answering my phone. Surely, there is an agency in the US that is goverment funded no less that is suppose to take care of folk like that. How hard with the proper clearance could it be to track down an address with a phone #. Someone is paying for that phone #.

haha a casket? my husband said if he didnt stop calling he would find him and strangle him.. and he said good, bring your wife so i can [***] her .. whaaaaaaaaaaat my husband was livid!!

weve gotten 50 or so calls this WEEK from this number!

I *just* got a call on my cell phone from this number (it's 10:45 pm EST). Didn't recognize the area code, so I didn't answer.  No VM left.  Checked Superpages.com to see if it's a landline or not.  Number is a pager number from Fresno, CA.

I'll be reporting this to DNC.

Yuuuuuuuuuup! I just received my 4th call from these peeps. I am in Northern California, and am on the  OPT out list.....so lame! I save myself lots of pain and agony by not even answering, whatever has to be said on the opposite end does not interest me. It's just kind of annoying. I am glad I am not the only one who's being pestered, thanks for sharing, guys!

Just got a call stating I had a grant for 5 gran for grants that I had supposively applied this January 2012. The grants was for whatever I wanted it for education, medical expenses....The lady was adamant about that and had my information P. O. Box # and email. She was adamant about me taking a confirmation # so that I would give it to the mailman when he arrived with a package  that would have a checking account set up to receive this money. I told her I was not interesting and I was not going to pay anything and she stated I had already paid $3.89 with a VISA card. I told her I was not interested and she  continued to give out a confirmation # that was not a number and insisted I write it down which read HOPE YOU DI and and she asked if I got the message and I responded I did not and then she hung up.

I got a call from this number numerous times (3 times in one day last week). They keep asking for someone by name who is not a family member. The first two times it was a woman. The third time, I finally yelled at them to stop calling me - there is no one here by that name. A man was on at this time and proceeded to yell obscenities at me (f* you, etc.). If my 7 year old wasn't in the room, I would've let him have it.

If you call back, receive a recording from your telephone co that the numer you just dialed is no longer in use/disconnected, amazing how they just called from that same number.  How can that be?

This number has called my phone at least 10 times this last week. Stupid people.

Received a call today from these creeps. This is not the first time I have received a call from them. Don't know who they are or what they want. Don't answer phone calls with unknown numbers or if no caller ID info come up, I don't answer. The Do Not Call list is a big joke, why can't these people be stopped. Obviously someone is making money off of this. Wish I had a megaphone to talk to these people.
