Is this person calling you and hanging up after sitting there in silence?  Who is he or she? Why don't they say hello like a normal person?

Robo-call for energy usage evaluation. Caller ID says "UNKNOWN NAME."

They left a voice mail.  It's about installing solar in your house, just ignore them and report them in violation of the do not call list.

I seriously love my Ooma. After repeated calls and emails (even to the CEO!) to AT&T proved fruitless in my quest to not pay for the privilege of getting calls from telemarketers and the like, I switched to Ooma. I got a call from (209) 259-0165 yesterday -- they left no message, of course -- and came here to see if anyone else had. Sure enough, it was a marketing call. So I called up my call log and clicked on the "add to blacklist" icon, and that's that. No more 10-number limit, no more "No, you can't block toll-free calls!" limitations. Just one click, and another robocaller is banned from my house.

This is how it's supposed to be. Sure, the scammers will figure out how to get around the no-call list and they've already gained the ability to spoof caller ID info, but tools like Ooma's community blacklist (and/or the nomorobo blacklist, which you can't use if you're an AT&T customer) really help out. (209) 259-0165 won't be calling me again, ever.

Calls in the morning. I don't pick up. They leave no messages.

Called me early this afternoon. Started moaning and making obscene sounds and comments. Make voice asked me if my wife or girlfriend is a "backdoor beauty"

They got me, too.  First it was 259-0165 and today it was 259-0159.  Both caller ID reads "California Call".  I know better than to pick up but I did call them back on my cell.  Both calls could NOT be completed.  Can you say SCAM???  Don't even bother getting upset about these jerks.  It's NOT worth it!!!  If you can, block their numbers and be sure to report them to the Do Not Call Registry.  And do NOT pick up your damn phone if they do call.  You're only letting them know that it's a working number.  Why can't people understand this???  And I got news for you, "nomorerobocalls.com" can do NOTHING about it!  We have to do it ourselves!!!  And we CAN!!!  Don't be so afraid to fight back.  I recently bought a phone that can block up to 200 unwanted numbers...and ya know what???  IT WORKS!!!  YAY!!!

These type of people if that is what you want to call them I would call them something else only problem is that that word has not been created yet! Pathectic really! I didnt get an answer back when I called back. Scams just keep coming and it is sad that there are people that fall into these scams. Me I usually mess with them on the phone then hang up.

we have been bombarded with calls in the past few weeks. Nobody ever answers. This is one of the numbers they use. Caller ID comes back as unknown. Sometimes they call more than once an hour.
