Just checking to see if anyone else got a call from this number.   I didn't answer this call.  I usually don't answer out of state numbers.

yes, got a call yesterday.  I didn't answer and they left no message.  Something to do with insurance.

This jerk has called 28 times in the last 3 days. Even after I  blocked it, it keeps coming up on my log. Is this a total idiot or a computer generated call. It tracks back to  Stockton, Ca phone.

Keeps calling, I don't answer and they leave no voice mails.

They keep calling and when I say Hello nothing happens for a few seconds then I hear Goodbye.

Has called 3 times in the last 15 minutes. Doesn't leave a message. Gonna be blocking  this number! HA!

If this keeps up these people are going to have a class action lawsuit against them. Numerous calls every 10 minutes. Reporting this to law enforcement or whoever I can.

received a call from this number, the gentleman was selling extended car warranty for a car i dont owned. tell them not to call back. put the number on the do not call list.

has call 16 times in two days

just got a call from them , a woman calling trying to sell extended car warranty and was pushing to sell it even to the point of getting nasty about it  told them remove my number and do not call back

Keep getting calls from this number. Appears in my phone as 11-209-289-0187.  Don't know why but we told this person not interested before and now we just get calls every hour during the day. If anyone in my house answers there's no answer.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

Your intent is honorable, but nothing will be done, really. they'll call again with a different number. Either by spoofing (stealing) a number from some unsuspecting smart fone user like me, who's as careful as can be with privacy, but downloads or is forced to allow permissions to one's complete and total personal information, and access to his contacts. Or they'll just get another number from the many cell and phone service providers who are complacent in all this bull crap sharing, 3rd party, cloud, e-pay, sync all yer app accounts, etc and on and on. It only takes 1 service tho. And they dont care "much" because they make money. Telemarketing should be made illegal!! Cell companys, and all those who share your sh#@ could make things secure with these great tech brains we have these days. But they don't wanna! True story.

The number 209-2890187 area from somewhere in California shows in caller ID auto insurance but this number is used from collection agency so do not answer just block it.

sounds like a computer dialed call as when you pick up it takes a few seconds for someone to start talking and starts with you have been selected in this case was auto insurance after stating that I was not interested in buying or changing anything got cussed out by some broken English speaking idiot Maybe these people need new jobs picking up trash alongside the road ways in California where they will not have time or energy to play games on phone

If they are a "debt collector" they can send a "hard copy'[ bill via the post office. If they can't  do that maybe it's a "questionable bill" or scam they need to be sued or reported to law enforcement. People that have something to hide, "scam artists" and cowards that have something to hide won't use the mail.

In my experience, you can block the calls but they will pop up using a phone number from a different state next week. I haven't figured out how to stop them.

Caller ID "Auto Insurance" Last February a different phone number and they didn't give up despite requesting not to call again and reporting three times to DNC. Finally they swore at me and the phone calls stopped. So when it started up again yesterday, my goal was to get them to swear at me to end the calls. It didn't work. Four calls yesterday (5/20/15). So far seven calls today. On the sixth call I blew a whistle into the phone and then hung up. Seventh call my husband answered doing his Forest Gump routine, (hilarious). For now I'm just keeping a whistle in my pocket. Hopefully after they get enough earaches they will stop calling. I got to do something as I do shift work and often sleeping during the day. Any more ideas?

This is a telemarketing call... no one answers when you attempt to pickup the call and if you call back, a message states you may press 1 to be put on the do not call list.
I added the number to my contacts and labeled it "DO NOT ANSWER" so I know I can simply decline if I see the ID...
