Anyone had a phone call from this number telling you that you are being sued for theft by deception and other things for a loan????

phone number 209-396-6904...Amanda Wright called me, left a message at my job to call her back.  I called and got some guy with an American name that sounded from the middle east...saying that EZ Loan was sueing me for theft by deception, and other things!!!! I am scared to death because I went online to try and find loans and the next thing I know I am getting phone calls from all around the WORLD!!! I had up to 15 calls per day..... Now I get a call from C Williams Law Firm saying I am being charged for criminal stuff! Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dont worry about it honey, they just did that to me & called my work & cell 7 times!  I confronted him & he hung up on me.  Its a scam...you are ok.  Its just unfortunate that this happened.

Oh Nikki, Thank you! I hope you are right.......I feel I need to alert my bank and credit union because they did have ALL my information and I did apply for several loans, but never accepted them which is crazy, but I did put my info out there like a stupid person. Ugghhhh......

i just got saying i got a loan to my account  but on my bank statements thier is no such thing do i do about it

I got a phone call today from a nut named Sam Peterson!!!! He could barely speak english and proceeded to tell me that if i didn't call him back right away i would be in trouble and that he could not do anything to help me and then said God have mercy on you. I dont take kind to a scammer trying to threaten me! I called before and spoke to someone saying that a lawsuit was filed against my social security number.....yeah ok come serve me summons papers. How can these people try to call someone and threaten to sue when #1 you dont have my address and then beg for it once i call, #2 you dont know the law! you cant call someone and tell them that they have to show up in court and #3 go play out in traffic!! I had my parents call who just so happen to be police officers and tell them a thing or two, filed a complaint with the FTC, BBB AND THE FBI!!!!  These [***] need to be stopped!!!

I got this m'fer. I called him back and yes an indian with an american name. I told him the FBI was monitoring this call, I have a friend on the FBI and this is an F'ing scam. I threatened his ass not to call me on my cell or at work again.

i got one of these calls from the same number. he claimed to be " Scott McClelan " from McClellan law firm. he had the heaviest indian accent that i ever heard, plus you could barely understand him and there were a lot of people in the background from wherever he was calling. he said that EZ Cash was suing me for 495 DOLLARS and that if i didn't pay it that day. EZ CASH would charge me 2250 in legal fees with the court summons. naturally, i was scared as hell. because he knew which bank that i used. the problem is that i never had a loan from " EZ CASH " . i have taken out loans before thats probably how he knew, because when you take out payday loans you will be flooded with emails everyday, many of which are legit.

he said i i was to fax him a letter, pay the 495 dollars and pay by a prepaid debit card. the prepaid debit card is what really stuck out. he said the court wouldnt accept any payment from my own debit or checking account and if i tried to pay with it, my bank account would be frozen.

I received a call from the 209-396-6904 number.  Funny that the number is not attached to a legitimate business.  Not only did they call me but my workplace as well.  I have had this happen before.  Be on the lookout for Nigerian scams and a minister who claims to be associated with Amrit Academy.

Forgot to add that the Attorney's name was John Blue.

omg!!! i talked to john blue today. i just got that call today. this was the worse day of my life! i have never been so freakin scared in all my life. 209-396-6904 i could not understand him, and he was very mean and rude and disrespectful. he said i could pay1985.45 right now or go to jail or court would cost me 9000 dollars. everytime i asked him who do i owe this money too, he only talked about the 1985.45  he went back to how ya gonna pay it. told him i was getting an attorney, then he called back with a case #  how can i pay 1985.45 when i  NEVER GOT THE MONEY FROM ANYWHERE. thankyou for letting me know that this is a scam. i'm calling my phone company and reporting him. this has to stop. i'll never apply for a loan online again. ps: i never even got a loan of any kind.lol

I totally agree with you! I was angry that I felt threated. I wanted to call him back and tell him to screw off, but I figured I'd check to make sure it wasn't something major. A Sam Peterson called me today and told me that I better not ignore the phone call or what "the issue unfolds for me" would be much worse. I had to listen to it at least two times because at first I couldn't stop laughing. I got a little worried afterwards but realized it was a Cali number and I live in TN. Do they not know about internet search engines??? Geez!

I got a phone call from this number.  Called back and the Sam Patterson told me that he was an attorney and that i had taken a payday loan out prior to Sept 2010.  Not true.   He said they are suing me for it and that they have tried to reach me several times.  I am going to call my cell company and block the number.  My home phone will be blocked too.  This is a new one on me.  Leave it to criminals to ruin a perfectly  cloudy day.  LOL    I always check numbers that call me to see where they come from and I will continue to do so.  Also when I tried calling back after the first call, the line is busy.

I received phone call from a Jeff Marshall, C. Williams and Assoc. attorneys stating I had a loan that I did not pay. Wouldn't give me any details, very threatening.  I do not have a loan out at all, this guy could not speak english, and said he was going to contact local police. Instructed my office to not give me any calls from this guy. I would like to go on record as saying this is fraud, he knows all my personal information.

I have been receiving these calls since last summer saying they will take me to court within 24-48 hours if I do not respond. I called the number and the guy I spoke to tried to scare me into giving him my debit card information with the 3 digit security # on the back,  to pay 1.849.23 yeah right! I told him to stop caling me or send me the information, then he asked for my address, I hung up, he called back, I hung up again, he called back threatened to call my employer and told me I would be fired, to this day I still get calls, I will not repeat what I say, but he will not give up......

They have called my house leaving threatening messages and using out of the area and unknown numbers. When I called back after many many rings someone answered with an east Indian accent and when i asked where i called he hung up. I called back and got the user at ext... is not available then immediately states that the mailbox. Im waiting for them B***** to call back. I have told them off before and now they keep calling.

Yes it was an east Indian man with a bad connection like it was coming from over seas.. with an American name.

Yes I recieved the same call and I would not give them any information and he said the police would be out to pick me up at work or home. I asked what creditor were they calling for and he said you will get the information when the paper work is served and then he hung up. I think this is the same person calling but using different numbers. Never give out any information on the phone. They are suppose to send you proof within five buisness days of your debt

That happened to me also with sam petterson, he left the same message for me. I called back and refused to give him any information and he just keep saying you will be sorry. I can help you settle out of court for 598 dollars because your court fees will be about 2000 dollars. When I said to send me paper work about the debt he said see you in court

I didn't catch the guys name who called me, But he told me i was being sued for theft by deception, Never been so scared in my life! When I asked who in the hell was sewing me he said you have to talk to my boss. Gave me this number 209-396-6904 to reach him. After putting me on "hold" i swear he just sat the phone down on the desk. he said call him in 2 mins and he will talk to you. He didn't ask me for much info but I also wasn't giving him any neither. I'm not calling the number back no way, so here is my little message for Hogy (Yes i nicknamed the jerk!)

"WTF Hogy or whatever ur name is, FU! Do u even know the laws in America serve me & ill show up to court + they wouldn't be begging me for my info (address ect..) Oh Hogy if that is ur real name (lol) Dont try to [***] with Americans we are some crazy ass's who don't respond well to threats!! AND We know the power of google!!! BUSTED"

Note to self and other self's: NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION ON PHONE OR ON WEB!!! NO MATTER HOW DESPERATE YOU ARE FOR MONEY!!!!!
