This call is from a company who tries to tell you that you have a lawsuit files against you. They threaten you and try to get you to release personal information such as bank accounts social security numbers.  Do not be fooled if a lawsuit is taken out against you and they have your phone number surely they should have any other information needed.

They tried the same scam on me.  I must have called them many times at different numbers and harassed them. I see it as, if I'm taking one line down they can not scam other person.  They do everything to scary you to pay. DONT BE FOOLED

FYI - No us agency can ever stop this from happen, especially if they are not calling within the US. the US government has NO JURISDICTION out of the US. We must play fire with fire.  Don't be scared people rise up and defend your selfs.  If you have some spare time do what i'm doing, and call the sh)t out of them.

They are not from india they are from an arab country.  They have spoofed there line therefore there is a good chance they are not calling with in the US.  I think the use an IP telephone service like skype. they seem to disconnect all there lines at 8:30pm eastern time.  I think if we all rise and call then as much as we can we can disrupt there scam.

They called my cell from this number and my work from 209-396-6910.  They are very rude and refused to answer any questions about what account.  I offered to verify the last 2 numbers of my social and they said I had to verify it all or they were going to take my home, my car, and my kids college fund.

I have filed a report with our local police and the FCC.

They can't take [***] from you.  But they do have all your info but don't verify anything anyhow.  they are just trying to scare you to give them your bank number and a letter of authorization.  The bad thing is that no US authority can put a atop to this because they are not in this country.  I've harass them so much they are actualy telling me to stop calling them and the appoligize for any call they have made to me.  But I'm not stoppin I will call them as much as I can. It's actually pretty fun to harrass them.  But they do this alot to other people.  the background in all the calls I made to them it sounds like they are in a call center. scaming alot of inocent people and believe it or not people actually send them money!

so yeah these ppl have been calling me too & it is "jessica white" telling me to call her senior attorney. I told her to go put him on the phone if he needs to talk to me. She has left threatening voicemails on my machine saying if i don't call them back "well, i wish you the best of luck" is what she says. I was involved in a car accident so i thought the dumb ppl who hit me was trying to file a law suit since i do have an attorney. So I called mr "david cooper" to see what this supposed law suit is about. when i asked him time and time again who does he represent and he finally said (very quietly and quick) PAY DAY LOANS. Then I just went off and told them to never call my number again. he said he would take me off a call list. and then just sat there for a minute and took my yelling at him then he just hung up on me. hahahaha. im gonna call them all the time now

We all have to stick together and harass them.  I've been calling since tuesday.  I called them at all the numbers over and over again when  i have time.  I will not stop until the lines get disconnected.  they have already stop using one of the numbers.

2nd time tried to call and recording says message is full and hangs up, this is a scam and fraud, we need to find out how to stop them

SAVE NUMBER AS SCAM.  Don't answer anymore.  Report to attorney general in CA.  This is same group calling out of Washington state, # 206-629-9392.  I called owner of phone company in WA today and he said they aware of it and that it has been reported to the right people.

They didn't say who they were or why they were calling. But they told me that I needed a lawyer and if they didn't hear from either me or my lawyer, they wished me good luck as the "events of my actions" unfolded in front of me. Not knowing what the hell it was, I called the number back from a different phone to find the name of the company. It was Federal Legislations. At this point I started to get nervous. I originally thought it was some kind of collection call. But when I heard the business name, I thought I'd better call to at least see what it was about. So of course, they told me that I had a lawsuit filed against me in the California Supreme Court for check fraud, giving false information, and a few other things. I was frightened at first, then when he told me it was for a payday loan that I took out on March 11th, I knew it was bulls*#t. He told me that the company by passed collecting the money from me and just decided to go straight to the Supreme Court. I demanded he tell me who the company was and he said their name was Cash Advance USA, and that they deposited "less than $500" into my checking account. I asked the exact amount and he said, "Less than $500." I said, "Yeah, you already said that....HOW MUCH!!!" He said $300 and I told him he was full of S*#T!!! He even told me that they already reported it to the credit bureau!! At this point, I was infuriated because I knew I had done nothing wrong. I told him that I could prove with no problem that no money was never deposited and threatened to file suit against THEM!!! When I said that, his toned changed and he actually said, "Ok, you think this is full of S*#T??" I said, "I KNOW IT IS!!!" and he told me I was right. The MORON actually started to tell me that it was a scam. That they get people's info, call them up, and tell them of fake lawsuits and threaten them to collect the money. This was after he told me he had some kind of proposition for me, which he never got to telling me what it was. But when he first said it, I was like, "A proposition?? What the hell does that mean?? You think I'm going to give you money??? What are you crazy??" He followed that one up with, "I don't want your money...." I'm sure my face was priceless at this point. So he tells me all this scam crap and then can't understand why I was even angrier than before. I said, "UUUMM, you call me, tell me I have freakin' felony charges that could land me in jail for a long time, tell me that you've reported it on my credit...then turn around and tell me that it's a scam and now claim to NOT have reported it to my credit, and you can't get why I'm upset???!! IDIOT!!!!" Then he says, "You're calling me stupid and an idiot, but I'm here making over $100,000.00 a month." I said, "Yeah, by making fraudulent calls, and stealing money from people!!!" He still tried to find out how much I make, and if I ws self employed. I said, "SERIOUSLY??? Do you really think I'm going to give you that info?? You're dumber than I thought!!!" I was going off!!! Yelling.....threatening a law suit of my own. At that point he said that I was not eligible for the loan...what ever that means.I said, "What loan???? You've already falsely accused me of taking one out and not paying!!!" So I got as much info from him as I could and told him that I WOULD be contacting MY lawyer and if they ever called me again I would press charges. And get this...they called back about 15 minutes later!!! I answered and said, "WHAT ARE YOU, ALLERGIC TO LISTENING???? IF YOU CONTINUE TO HARRASS ME, I'LL PRESS CHARGES!!!" There was no answer from which ever one of them was calling. I said, "HELLO???!!!" and they just hung up. The thing that frightens me the most is that they had all my info, my bank account #, my SSN, my address.....I'm now scared to death!!! I have to make a million calls tomorrow morning now to do what I can just incase!!! Oh....and I WILL be calling a lawyer, the better business bureau, and the FBI...no joke. There's got to be something they can at least investigate. Either way, it needs to be reported!!

Ok today they have been callin me.. When i looked at my clock and it was 8pm i knew something wasnt right so i aswered.  He troldf me that he was collecting my lawyer information.  I said lawyer wtf lawyer for what?  He was and idiot he didnt want ot give me any information so i asked wsho was hisx boss so he gave me a name.  I called that number which was the 209-498-0510 and firztly he aswered the phone with hello... Secondly i have never in my life took out a payday loan so like i told him i think that your a fraud because you can even give me any information and your calling me about a affidavid that i know nuthin about so he started sounding all different and trying to rush me off the phone so i wasnt having that.  So i told him that my father is a big time attorney in indiana and i cant wait til he hears about this.  he hung up on me and now all the phones are off.  Who would fall for that but its okm cuz i am going to try to see if somethinbg can be done because that is harrassment and fraud

Hey, I posted my experience with these yahoos earlier today in an above post. I really think I scared them when I went off and turned it around, threatening to file suit against them and asking for as much info as possible. I'm wondering, what do you say when you call them? How do you harrass them? I ask this of course, because I would love to do the same. I still plan on calling my attorney, the Better Business Bureau, and the FBI. Even if they can't help me, (which I 100% believe they've told others, but am having a hard time believing that there is absolutely nothing they can do) it, at the very least will be reported. The more reports they get, the less they'll be able to ignore it......hopefully. But in the mean time, I need to know what to harrass them with as I am actually excited to do it!!! :) Thanks!!!

Hey there, I've been replying to a few of these posts to let everyone in this thread know my experience, and the info I've found on these people. My original post it a long one, but I felt I had to disclose everything with what I feel is he most helpful in our situation....hopefully. By this, I mean the part in ny conversation with them where the caller, "Morgan Smith" was dumb enough to tell me that it was in fact scam AND....what they do along with how they do it!!! Idiot!!! Pretty much the only thing I couldn't get out of them was exactly where they were located. I figured they were not in this country though. I've done some online investigating of his "company" and have found what I hope will be useful info. I haven't, however, listed wha I have found just yet. I want to find everything I possiblely can before I share the info. With any luck, the info that I find will allow us to do something about it. I'll be posting my finds soon.

This is a SCAM! A friend of mine had this number call her and say she owed $500 within an hour or would have a criminal lawsuit against her. ITS B.S! She has since filed a police report, contacted the credit bureaus to monitor her credit. Unfortunately they do know he information, however I don't think they are trying to use it. I think they are trying to scare as many people as possible into paying $500. Not sure where they received her information, these days it could be from anywhere. If this were true some Indian named "Dennis Johnson," who can barely speak english, would be calling her. Needless to say, it is a Joke. She also received a new call today from a new number 951-252-2609

YES!!! I have been collecting as much info on these people as I can since last night and it's astounding what I have found so far....and with little trouble, which I thought was odd. Anyway, I posted my experience with these people last night in reply to "Pranked and Upset" and again today as my own post. I'm still in the process of gathering info. The more we have the better!!! I'll be posting everything I find and the places I have reported it to including, my attorney of course, The Better Business Bureau, all phone carriers that the numbers I've found are listed under (and there are a lot of them), the Attorney General for each state in which a number is found, all three Credit Bureaus used in the US, my bank, and the FBI. There's got to be SOMETHING that can be done and I will be persuing it agressively for as long as it takes. These people ARE absolutely commiting a number of felonies including, extortion, stealing personal info, posing as a lagitimate business, making fraudulent collection calls, hacking our systems to use U.S. phone numbers (some of which are also listed under businesses in the U.S. that are NOT collectors or attorneys) by this I mean that I have found one so far that is listed under a museum in Fresno, CA. I have not, however, found out if this museum is legitamite....still working on that one. These people could even be and ARE most likely stealing identities as well. I haven't found anyone as of yet that has reported them for that, but along with a few others I've found, they somehow have all my personal info. My full name, address, bank account number, and ssn#. Although I didn't confirm this when he read it off, I'm terrified that my reaction could have been confirmation enough. So I'll be investigating this as well, for not only myself, but for others as well. I'll be posting all the info I find along with the calls I've made and the results I've gotten. I will continue to leave updates as I have them. With this, hopefully we will be able to do something. Oh, I forgot to mention that I have saved the message they initially left me along with the date and time of the call along with the date and time that I called them back (too bad I didn't have that conversation on record since he actually told me it was a scam and how they do what they're doing....no kidding. Read my original post...) Anyhoo, I also saved the number, date & time when they had the absolute nerve to call me just 10 minutes after I had my screaming match with them....IDIOTS!!! So, like I said, I'll be getting back to everyone on this thread with the info I find....sticking together will be the only way we can do something about it. I know there are probably a million more out there just like them, but one less is still one less!! Talk to you soon! :)

This exaxt same thing happend to me today. Almost verbatim, they left me a message, I called, they told me they were taking it to the Supreme Court in California, ect!!!

I received one of the same calls, they actually called my place of employement, I work at a bank and I told them they were a scam and that I was going to report them. The called named Dan Johnson said I was a scammer and then proceeded to say "Blah, Blah, Blah" in my ear.  They did have my acutal ssn and this bothers me, but if they aren't in us territory, how do we report them.
