Tried to scam SS# and credit card info

I received calls from 209-622-1085 as well.  They will tell you anything to get information from you.  They are phishing.

Debt collectors harrassing me over debt allegedly owed by someone I have never heard of. They provide no contact details other than a number leading to a robot that demands my SSN, and there is no way to tell them that they have the wrong number.

this has been going on for YEARS, calls from them every other day for someone I never heard of.  I am ready to change my #.

This number keeps calling my home number.  You cannot understand a word they are saying..They are calling from CA. I do not want this number to show on my phone.  Please do not answer anything they ask if you can understand anyone..Thanks

received call asking for someone I have never heard of.(the automated machine left a message) Called back  and it was Pallisades Collection, their IVR will not let you choose an option to speak with anyone as that is option 3 and conveniently it never understands it in time. Caller ID showed Modesto CA 1-209-622-1085

these MFs keep calling all hours of day.. sick of it..

I have repeatedly requested that these people quit calling me. to no avail.

I get calls at least twice a week. It's a recorded message asking you to call back (an 800 number) as well as a reference number. They ask for a person that I have NEVER known & I have had the same land line number for thirty years!

This is Portfolio Recovery.  They try to collect on past statute of limitations debt.

Or perhaps I should take a trip to California and kill them myself?

These people call numerous times a day.....all the way to me in Texas......sounds like a scam from what I understand.

They called and said I have an outstanding verizon bill. I explained that I don't and they got rude and threatening. They are some kind of scam outfit in Modesto California. Tell them you're contacting the attorney generals office and hang up. Then call your phone company and block the number. [***]

Same thing here! Phishing. Will not leave any info if phone is unanswered. If answered they try to get information.

I informed on the first three calls of 11/30/11, 12/1/11, 12/5/11 that they could not reach the party named at my number and please not to call again by message left at 8004148319.  On the next two occassions upon calling that number for the same message as to their 12/6/11 and 12/7/11 calls the recorded message was that the number "can't accept messages.

this number keeps calling me-it's automated of course so I can not speak to anyone.  They are asking for someone who I do not know-does not live here-they call here at least once a day. Pleas!e stop

At least 30 calls from these idiots. I have stopped answering and now will attempt to block the calls

I have been receiving their call for more than 4 month now.
The phone number they left can't help to stop them to call at all.
There is no chance to tell them the wrong number.
Sick!
