Scam Call from an alleged  PC Technician from Microsoft (heavy accent and with extremely busy telemarketing-like noise in background) who informed me that our computer would crash in 72 hours if not fixed.  He mentioned that we had been ignoring a message in Windows that informed us that our system was high risk and very slow.  Apparently we should have immediately responded to these messages and now we were in trouble of having the computer crash.

When questioned as to who was calling - he said that Microsoft contracts off the technical support help and that they picked up numerous "error" messages coming from our computer which proved it was at risk. I asked for them to send an email - to which he replied that Microsoft doesn't communicate in that manner.  I asked for a phone # since I was busy at the time and didn't have the time right now to mess with the computer. The individual gave the name "Shane Jorden" @ 1-209-753-4754. He said if the lines were busy to leave a message and he'd call back.
