Just received a call from "Sean", complete Indian middle eastern accent.  Called from private number and left message to call back this number because my supposed "loan" for thousands of dollars has been approved. I have no idea what this is about.  Sounds like fraud stuff to me.

I've been getting these calls all day saying I've been approved for thousands of dollars in loans thanks to my application on their website. I told the last lady I never heard of them, have not applied for any loans and insist they delete all my info from their system.

She said, "Well, if you didn't apply then how do we have your information?"

I told her I don't know and I still want all my info removed.

She said the manager to make those decisions is (stammered for the right word) not available right now. So I asked who I CAN talk to and she hung up.

It comes up "private number," which I believe means they are calling via VOIP on the computer.

Have sent these people 1500.00 for an 2000.00 loan that I have not received into bank account nor western union. Now they don't want to refund my money back to me, are trying to get me to pay more for an different total of loan, just want my money.

Thank you for this because they just called me to tell me they needed me to send them money via Western Union.  I thought I better look online to see if it was on the up and up.  Turns out that they aren't.  Thank you so much for letting me know.

I was called by Sean and told that i was approved for a $3000.00 loan, but need it to pay a processing fee of $200.00 and i Western Union the money, then called back to see if loan is ready,then told that i needed to pay another $500.00 for bank fees and i Western union the money. Then the loan was still not in the bank,and was told because of credit that i needed to pay an insurance of $400.00 so i pay western union. I google their number and find out that this was a scam,so i called western union and was able to recover $400.00 but not the rest because money was already accepted on the other side (INDIA) and (philippines). I was robbed for $700.00!!! their phone number is 209-753-4932 be careful with this people!!!

i have been seeing this number for the last week and half they want me to send them 200
dollars fr a 3000 dollars loan i ask them was i crazy or stupid why would i pay to get a loan when you dont pay until you get them theyb are not very smart at all they will keep calling until they bleed you dry.

good thing i checke don here. i just got told i was apporved for a 3000 loan that i needed secure with a 200 deposit. what a crcok. has anyone sent them to the bbb?

I had the same call from California cash advance his name is John smith oferme the loan for 3000.00  US dollar but I have to send 200.00 for fees . I wonder if we can brind this people to jail and stop them for good .??? Any suggestions ??? Can we scam them ?? And make them paid in in a real court ??

I received several calls from this number by several diiferent people, stating I was approved for a $2000 loan, with repayment being $150 for 15 months. I was told to send $150 by Western Union and then my money would be deposited into my bank account.When I called back to see why my money had not been deposited I was told that I needed to send $300 Western Union for the insurance on the loan as soon as that was received I would receive my loan.I then called back again to see why my money had not been deposited as stated ans was told that I needed to send $250 and then my money would be deposited within the next 15 minutes but was never done, when I called again they were trying to have me send another $300 which I stated no. I was out $700 and have been unable to have my money returned. Do not fall for their scam, I spoke to about 7 different people and received a different messafe from everyone of them.

This Cash Advance business is a Total scam !! They ripped me & my husband off for $200 . When we told them that we didnt want to go through with the transaction anymore cause they were sounding very shady and we wanted our money back they said the $200 will be used as cancellation fee. DO NOT do business with them! ! Total scam !!!!

I just got the same call from the number 209-753-4932 stating i had been approved for a loan of 3000 when i called them back they said they needed 200 dollars for the fees and that my account would be paid in the amount of 3200. I told them the whole reason i need a loan is because im broke and that i do not have 200. The lady said well when you get the money call us back and then hung up. So i got online and looked them up and found this page. Im glad i wasnt stupid enough like alot of the people on here to send them any money and hop i get my money back. This is a total scam also cash advance does not lend money they just direct you to a company that will so right there you know its a scam if they say they are from cash advance and have approved you for a loan. OMG they just called again for the second time in 15 min where can i turn these people in at.

Received the same phone call saying I was approved for $3000, (Red Flag, I did not apply for a loan), they've been calling for about 2 weeks, (Red Flag)... I finally called back, the names I was given were Eddie and Angel, both with very heavy accent (Red Flag)... They did not want a lot of details from me (Red Flag), just that I had been approved for the loan and the payments would be $150 a month... I needed to pay $200 (Red Flag) and the $3000 plus the $200 would be deposited the next day... Needless to say I told them I wasn't interested and decided to look up the number on-line...

I've been getting calls from this number for the past few days telling me that I was approved for a loan application I submitted on their website called California Catholic Grants. The person that spoke was named Sean but couldn't understand half the stuff he was saying. He informed me I was approved for $3000. I knew nothing about this loan and never applied for a $3000 loan they claimed I did. I'm glad I googled the number(209) 753-4932/(209) 643-0391.

Sure am glad I googled this number... I was told I was approved for $3000 with a payback of $150 per month for 22 months.  Just needed me to send them $150 up front.  Are you kidding me?  If I am trying to get a loan what would make anyone think I have a spare $150 laying around?  I know what kind of shape my credit is in, and I know that I do not qualify for a loan with that little interest over 22 months.

My wife and I just spent an hour and a half on the phone with these A$$Holes from "California" named "Gary" and "Shawn".  they promised us 3000.00 if we sent them 200.00 via Western Union.  then they asked us for 300.00 more.  my wife got upset and told them either give us the 200.00 back or put something in our account to show it is legit.  "Gary" or "Shawn", whichever MOFO it was told her it was non-refundable.  so then i got on the phone and talked to the camel jockies.  i was told that the application would be canceled and we would get a refund by friday.  unfortunately for them i am calling back tomorrow and i will have my money by the time i get off the phone with one of those non beef eating sacks of crap!!!!

I received a call from a number that showed up as 1 0023200100 they left a voicemail saying I was approved for a Loan of $3000 but I have to pay $200 to process it. The moment they mention I had to pay money up front I cut him off  and said this is a scam please do not call my phone anymore and hung up. I think this was due to the fact that I applied for payday loans I think that how they got my phone number. Did any of you apply for payday loans online lately?

The number 315-285-4747 called me and asked that I give them $199.00 for a processing fee and then they will give me $3000.00. The guy name I am speaking to is Peter Smith. They said I have to pay and then after 10 minutes the money will be released and available in my account. He said that the name of the company is Payday loan. It sounds fishy to me. I don't think I will do it. I have heard the same responses as others in this forum.

I actually got a phone call this morning, and the first call sounded legit; but then when I called back the person that I talked to, (Foster O'Brien ?) was the same person that answered when I called their "customer service line" what are the chances of that...slim; so I was then transferred to their "senior advisor" and as i'm talking to this guy I knew it was junk; when I told the guy to cancel whatever it is that they are doing he was like, "WHY?!" so I told him; this sounds like a scam and he just hung up

In Gods name they took away $200 from me which it will not take them anywhere. Eventually they will pay for what they have done.
