I received a text message from this number.  (I just verified that my cell phone IS registered on the Do Not Call list.)

The text read as follows:

"Need some extra MONEY for the new year?  You can easily get $1500 today! Just visit www.BestCashSite.com to get the funds. Write 'No' to end."

now they are text spamming.  I am on do not call list.

Just received text spam message from 209-781-5672- Need extra money for the new year?  You can easily get $1500 today! just visit www.Click4PaySite.com to get the funds.  Write "No" to end.  I report each text spam to ATT to credit my account for the $.20 charge for each text message.  I also file a complaint on the DoNotCall website and the FCC website.  I am on the Do Not Call registry.  This has gotten really bad in the last 6 months and it is frustrating to have to call ATT constantly to report the unsolicited text messages and request a refund.  You can also forward the text message to the ATT spam reporting number 7726.  You are not charged for this text message.

I just forwarded a spam text message to ATT's 7726. Immediately received request to forward them the phone number. When I did they immediately responded that it most like came from an email (three consecutive spams had email addresses) and to reply to the text BLOCK. I did this. Now I will see what happens.

It is good to know that the spams can be reported to ATT.
