Dialed *67 and the number, and a recorded message says "the Google subscriber you are calling is not available". Scammer most likely.

This number called me and idk who it is. I didnt even answer it. And I don't think I should call back either...

I just received a call from 209-878-7012.  I didn't answer because I am unfamiliar with the number.  They didn't leave a message.  I called *67 then the number to hide my caller ID and up came a message that the Google customer is not available.  I think a muffled woman's voice said "home efficiency".  I was tempted to leave a vulgar message but instead I just blocked the number  with my handi dandi call blocking device from an online auction.  It cost about 40 bucks and can store 1,500 phone numbers.  I think I am up to about 120 blocked numbers.

I no longer do anything but block the numbers and not answer numbers I don't recognize.
I get about 5-8 calls a day and most of the scammers are now being blocked but new ones start up all the time.

Just received a call on my cell which is on the do not call list.  I answered since it is a local number to me.  Said  "hello" a couple times.  No one there so I disconnected, and then checked here. I have now saved the number as "garbage" so next time I won't bother to answer.

Claimed to be working with PG&E re: energy rebates. Listed several items they would evaluate my home for including roof, windows, attic insulation, hot water heater. Made an appointment. Came out and looked at roof. Apparently wasn't profitable enough, so the guy pretended that he had gotten an emergency callback on a previous appointment (although his phone never rang while I was with him) and would be back in 20 minutes. Never came back or called back. The guy's name is Randall "Randy" Wallace, and his cell phone number is 925-260-3777.

I am on the do not call list, will file a complaint with the www.donotcall.gov site.
Got the call and no one was there.
Called back since I have some items at local repair shops and I do not have their numbers in my phone and the message said all representatives were busy.

I got a call from this number and didn't answer the phone, but the recorded message mentioned something about PG&E and SMUD.

209-878-7012 I guess "Randy" took a little vacay for a few months and now he's back at it again.  Got a call today from Google listing not PG&E, Not SMUD.  Hello people, this is a total low-life scammer.  IT'S IN YOUR BEST INTEREST NOT TO ANSWER THIS SCUMBAG CALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since this appears to be a new list, I assume I am on a new list for Scammers-in-Training. They probably still wet the bed at night. And they are still fûçk heads. But I do for them what I do for real professional scammers. Never answer the phone (I do ask for a message to be left), never call back, and block the number. Get yourself a Panasonic phone system that blocks 250 numbers. Check amazon.com for one. A nice feature is when the jerks call back, there is no ring to irritate you.
