I got a voicemail from this number which said it was from the IRS and that I or my attorney should call back. When I called back someone did pick up and said they were from the IRS but when I started to explain that I had a weird message on my voicemail he said I had the wrong number and quickly hung up on me. This is a scam.

I received the same exact same voicemail from this number a few minutes ago, as well. It made my heart race for a moment there since a call from the IRS is the least of what I am expecting. I haven't called the number back yet because I am unsure if it really is the IRS.

They called me and with the IRS voicemail that sounded threatening. I called back saying I just got a call from them he asked my name and I asked with who I was speaking to. This went back and forth a few times and when I would not tell him my name he cussed me out and hung up. SCAM

Got the same message today.  When I called back, I asked what it was regarding.  I was responded to with "how do you expect me to tell you if you dont tell me your name and number?".  My response, "you called me...that's why I'm asking..."

This is obvious BS!
