Just called me too and left no message. Probably a political campaign?

Called Saturday around noon.....let it roll to voice mail....no message.

called around 7:30pm and wanted donations for the police department for some childrens organization,
sounds like a scam to me

Got a call at 11:50 a.m. -- saw it was from Stockton and didn't recognize the # so didn't answer.  They didn't leave a message although the phone rang long enough for the answering machine to kick in.  I have stopped answering any calls where I don't recognize the #; I look them up and in every instance so far it's been a charity or a telemarketer.  They can call until the cows come home -- we're not picking up!

My elderly father recently donated to them via a check.
Now he gets all of these unknown California calls.

SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Don't give any Info out. They have given out 5 to 6 different company names and different Information.

It is a police charity not scammers. They use the money for kids with polio and stuff like that to get a better view in the public. We got dirty cops out here though so I don't trust any of them. It's unfortunate though because  some of those kids actually do need it and there has just been so many dirty tricks the cops use to get money in California that no one trusts them anymore.

Said I would donate, then found the above link after a google search.  Obviously, I will not be donating now.

called tonight, didnt leave a message.  I called back and got "mailbox full, you cannot leave a message.  Reverse look-up says it's a landline in Stockton.

They called me at 9:19 am on a Saturday and woke me up and then when it went to the answering machine they just laughed and hung up next time they call I am going to tell them off and say not to call again or I am going to report.The weekend is the only days I get to sleep in they should be considerate.

My caller ID shows they have called several times, tonight I happened to be home and answered the call., anything to get them to STOP calling me....yes it has to do with a donation to the police youth something or other....I don't mind sending a bit to some charities, but I like to check them out before I send the money in..... so you guys think this is a scam huh! ok..... no money for them....

I did the same exact thing.  Looked up the number on reverse look-up and I read its a landline in Stockton.  Kind of creepy.  I was pissed because whoever called from this number asked for me by my name.  Didn't leave a msg or name with the person who answered the phone.  This number takes msgs, but won't except calls.  At least that's what I got at the time.  Whoever called, called early around 7:30 am and again around noon and then again about 8:45.  I don't answer to this number and I haven't had this number on my caller ID since Nov.3.  Two days this number appeared numerous times on my caller ID.

Thanks alot.  It is comforting to know a couple of people actually answered the phone at the time.  It puts my mind at ease.  I can now answer comfortably to say NO.  Really thank you guys for these adds.  Never thought to run into this site.  I just punched in the number to get something anything.  God Bless You All.  I do donate.  I am not rich.  I donate what I can to my favorite charity.  Jerry's kids and March of Dimes for children with leukemia, and sometimes others if I am blessed with a lil more cash.  I don't trust these people calling from that number.

I think I'm on every call list ever generated.

They called, I never answer unknown calls and they left no message.
