I received a message from this number from a gentlemen with a very heavy accent.  Said that it was very important that I or my someone legally that represents me to call back.  That if I did not call back today then he wishes me the best of luck in the future as he can not be sure what will happen to me and God bless then again saying to call him back today he said his name was Jimmy Brown (sure) but it felt very much like a threat the way he was talking.  I called it back and got only a voice mail.

The same thing happened to me a few hrs ago.  I called back & let some woman have it.

I got a call like this early this morning... I have called back several times throughout the day, and keep getting a different story. No one can tell me any information, but want me to purchase a pre-paid cash card and fax them the card information. Total scam... I notified the local law enforcement.

Still receving calls from this number. I was getting ready this morning and in a matter for 10 minutes, I missed 7 calls from them. I called the number back and was one again told if I did not send money today I would receive a notice a work. When I told the lady I knew this was a scam, she started yelling at me and hung up on me. I have not had another call since this morning.

I have received several threatening messages and phone call from this number. Was told I would be arrested tomorrow. Said I owed him 200.00 but would have to pay 1,451 with prepaid Walmart card within one hour or they would show up at my job tomorrow and I would be fired and arrested.

Who are these idiots?  They curse, yell and talk over you.  Who are they?  Who do they represent?  They called and said they were the state attorney?  I asked from what state?  Never got a name.  They called again said they were lawyers?  I asked who did they represent?  They honest to goodness said, "[***] Firm"!  I swear.  They are from Galt CA but who are they?

This guy says he's dexter jones, heavy accident.  Tells me he didn't give a damn what I had to say or who I was going to report him to.  I told him if he ever called my # again I was reporting to attorney.  How have they gotten my home and cell #?  Did I fill out something online or complete a survey?  Can anyone provide any information for these dogs?  How can we bring them down?  Maybe we should play their little game to get them caught.

I am going to call our State Attorneys office here in polk county and let them know someone is calling and stating they are from the State Attorneys office.  Think we all should do the same thing and lets see if we can put a stop to this.  These people are evil,

Just got a call from some lady with a heavy accent. Said she needed the name of my attorney & did I know there was a lawsuit filed against me with my name & SSN. I told her know. She said I needed to call the number back ASAP & speak to the senior attorney. I called my county circuit clerk's office & asked them if there had been a lawsuit filed against me. She stated NO! This must be some sort of scam. I did try to call the number back but got a message saying leave a message. They called me at work & on my cell phone.

I got a call from this number saying i was being sued by state attorneys office of california. TOTAL SCAM. DO NOT GIVE INFORMATION. TELL THEM YOUR CALL POLICE

I received a call this morning-threatening me,on my voice mail. Heavy Indian accent-my boss
called me and said they had called my work and said they were from a atate attorney's office. I have called my attorney generals office and filed a complaint. This is just not right.

The same individuals are now using the phone number 818-532-9226 with the same threatening tactics. I also have informed the local law enforcements.  They are using the names of Alex Watson and John Waters.

I have been receiving calls from this number every since I feeled out a online loan application, Today I receive a message( someone with a heavy accent) to call them or my attorney on record. I called them back and they kept talking about a case and they new the last four of my ss and my bank name and the information on the application that I feeled out. They said that they sent me money to my bank and that I have to paid them back now. This was 2 weeks ago when I feeled out the application. I started yelling telling them I did not owe them any money and they got real rude and said that I would have to handle this in my court that a subpoena was going to be issued then they hung up I called the police. I should have know they were scamming I have worked in the criminal justice field awhile, but they caught me off guard. So what am I to do they have my personal information.

I received a call from a heavily accented person who asked who my lawyer was.  He stated he was an attorney and wanted to verify my Social Security Number.  He gave me the last four digits (which were correct) and proceeded to pass me off to his Senior Attorney - Kevin Watson - who, also heavily accented, informed that that a lawsuit had been brought against me by a Pay Day Loan Service who had deposited funds into my checking account and had never been repaid - totally false.  He proceeded to tell me that they were going to launch a criminal investigation against me 'tomorrow morning' at which point I simply hung up.

Still receiving annoying calls! This time the number came in from a 266-369-6222 number, and some Alex guy wanted me to call him back at 760-557-1021... looked both of these numbers up... total scam. They called both my cell phone and work phone, left messages, which i did not return. No further calls. This is super annoying and scary. I have reported all of these numbers to IC3 and the FBI! How do I get away from these nasty individuals?

Yea I got the same calls.. Have been getting them for 3 weeks now.. And yea i did try to sign up for a pay day advance through Money Mutual one time and it referred me to like 5 other agencies.. Now these people won't stop harassing me.. I wouldn't worry about it you guys. But it is still aggravating they have unlimited number of phone numbers they can call from.. You block one, they call from another.. Then they start calling "UNKNOWN NUMBER"  These people need to  be the ones being told God Bless and good luck.. The better hope I don't get a hold of them

my wife called me and said that a Guy named DAVID SCOTT called her and made a threat, and i called back and they could not fine a DAVID SCOTT.

I received a phone call from Customer Affairs and Regulations of CA, looking to speak with me They asked that I call immediately at 209-912-2108, and ask for James Anderson.

i called this number 4 times each time i called i got a diffrent answer the best one was that james past away with in the last 5 min. of my last call, and then i was talking to his Father wow..... Realy

the oparater called me a basterd, and that he was gonna hang up on my face, lol

A man with a strong accent called my cell phone and then my work phone (direct line to my desk).  He proceeded to tell me that a lawsuit had been filed against me in the State of California and I should expect the sheriff's office to come and serve me with as subpoena to appear in a California court.  Having a paralegal background I immediately asked him for the case number and the name of the Plaintiff of the lawsuit and he said he couldn't provide me with any information but to call 209-912-2108 to talk to a Sr. Attorney.  I also told him that I am not legally obligated to show up without being served and he said I didn't have a choice I was going to have to come to California that my social security number was in jeopardy or something like that.  Due to his strong accent and his aggressive tone I couldn't really understand him.  I hung up and called the number and some woman with a heavy accent answered "Good morning, can I help you?"  Didn't answer with the name of the business or office and I asked "Who am I calling?" and she said "something-legal," again couldn't understand due to the heavy accent and she aggressively asked me for my name and I hung up.  THIS IS THE BIGGEST SCAM EVER!!  DON'T GIVE THEM ANYMORE INFORMATION.  Like a lot of people who have posted here I filled out an online loan application and that is how they got my personal information.  They are calling you like this fishing for more information - DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYMORE INFORMATION!  Also, don't let them get to you, that is what they want.
