- Karen| 1 replyI got a call from this number on 10/02/2014 and the caller (a recorded female voice with some kind of foreign accent) said that I was about to be arrested, the police were on their way to my house and if I didn't want this to happen I could call some number they mentioned. Despicable people.
- Slim replies to KarenLegitimate process servers do not call to warn you, or to get money from you to stop the process. They will deliver the notification without warning.
Also, if you were threatened with an "arrest warrant" via a phone call or email, read this:
http://news.uscourts.gov/warning-arrest-warrant-scam
"The warrant is phony. A valid warrant would not be served by fax or e-mail. It would be served in person by a U.S. Marshal or other law enforcement officer."
"Anyone receiving a fake arrest warrant should contact the FBI or the district U.S. Marshals Office. If there is any question regarding the authenticity of a warrant, contact your district clerk of court." - BrianCall from this phone number said my computer screen was giving off errors
- RyanGot a call from this number a few minutes ago by an Indian gentleman saying that I was eligible for a federal grant. The stipulation was that I had to give them a card number for a fee of $3.87 for my forms. After telling him multiple times that I didn't have acess to cards at that moment, he kept asking if any of my friends had cards I could use, saying that if I declined, the money would never be available to me again. The lengths some places will go to.

Called had a thick accent, and claimed to be calling from Microsoft about my windows computer. This call is complete fraud. I've had customers receive this call and fall to some degree to it, and I've had to repair the damage as they attempt to walk a customer through modifying their computer to be receptive to a direct hack attack (i.e. they will connect to your computer when its on the internet and they will do anything to it that they want, including using your machine for storage of malware or as a bot in a DoS attack on others).
DO NOT let them convince you to modify anything on your computer, they are claiming to know, but they are just taking fixed details on any windows computer and using it to appear knowledgeable.- Caller: LOUIS

- Jeanne MorrowThis caller has a woman who asks you about your "Windows computer." Thick foreign accent.
She asks if you have windows, if you say no, she tells you that she can still help you fix your computer.
When you tell her that you don't need anything, she insists that you do. She then starts asking for information.
That is when I told her to take me of their calling list and that I would report her if she called again. She hung up on me .
