This is a scam. They claim to be the IRS and have a warrant out for your arrest. If they call you make sure you report it to the IRS fraud site

These people are calling  my house looking for my son because he's being audited by "IRS" for tax years 2008 to 2013.  Those happen to be years he was in school and did not work.  This is a scam and you should report the number to the IRS TIGTA.

Yep.  I received the same call today from an Indian sounding woman claiming to be Kelly Smith with the IRS.  I plan on contacting the Attorney General's office here in the State of Ohio.

  An Indian man called and left a message claiming to be with the IRS and stating that they were about to put a warrant out for my arrest because of some kind of tax issue. This is most defiantly a Scam. First off the IRS will not call you on the phone to try and collect money, its against their policy; so anyone claiming otherwise is just trying to trick you. Second the years he claimed that I was being arrested for tax evasion or something were years I was in school and wasn't even working so there's no way I would owe. Then finally when he called it came up as the number above, when the IRS calls it comes up either IRS or something related to the Government not a random number from San Antonio TX.  
  These degenerates are just attempting to prey on people's fears of the IRS in order to get money or information out of them. So please if you get a call from these losers report it to the IRS Fraud website and do not give them anything.

Received message man with India dialect from 210-390-9798 saying they are an officer from IRS and that they received a lawsuit in my name and that there is a Sr. Officer who wants to work with me and to call back.

I received the same message from that 210-390-9798.  They seem persistent and continue to call.

Received a call today saying a lawsuit has been filed in my name and I need to contact Kelly Smith urgently or else legal action will be taken.  As stated by others, it's not the IRS mode of operation to make a first contact via phone. SCAM.

I got called twice today from this number by an Indian-accented male who said he was from the IRS and that there were 4 lawsuits filed against me and that a warrant for my arrest was about to be released. I called the IRS fraud service and filed a report. They were very nice and told me that if I chose to speak with this man to tell him that I'm aware of my rights and without validation by mail I have nothing further to say to them.

Persistent caller by the name of Kelly Smith claiming to be the "IRS" to help me with a lawsuit.
When challenged, she quickly hung-up.

Message saying a lawsuit from IRS. Big time scam put it on call block.

Just got exact same call from Indian woman.  Same number, same Kelly Smith name.  If someone wants to sue you or if the IRS has a problem with you, they will not call and leave message on your answering machine.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I keep getting these scam calls pretending ts IRS stop these calls asap

im getting the same call and woman Kelly smith no extention # wish is really odd and if it was the irs wouldn't they call from your own state and not leave a message on an answering machine and the other day the same thing came up on an e-mail for my husband we should all be able to do something about this

Have had several voice messages left  by KELLY SMITH from this number, stating that there is a law suit out in my name and that they need an urgent call back or they will proceed with the suit.

IRS Website states that noone from the IRS will ever call out of the blue, that all interactions are initiated through mail contact first.

Our house received 9 messages from this same person.  I will also call the Attorney General's office here in Ohio.

I got four messages today from Kelly Smith.  Fifth call I was home and answered, they hung up.  

This number called my workplace. An Indian man called inquiring about Green Dot Money Reload Packs. I informed him that they couldn't be purchased over the phone. He continued asking questions about them. He asked whether or not they were the packs with the scratch off pin number on the back, what was the purchase limit on them per person, along with the purchase price. I informed him if he had any further questions please come into the store and speak to someone because he wouldn't get off the phone. I'm from Michigan the Caller ID said San Antonio Texas. There is absolutely no reason for anyone to call from clear on the other side of the United States unless they're trying to get away with a scam.
