- FBIThe people claiming to be DEA from this number is a completely SCAM. Please do not entertain nor be intimidated by calls from this or any other number claiming to be DEA. If you are doing something that the DEA wants you for be sure they won't call you they will come and get you.
The callers will say they are DEA and that you ordered drugs illegally online and most likely you did because they can't sell them online anymore so now they are resorting to blackmailing those who have ordered online drugs. This could be antibiotics. Anything ordered online without a prescription in the US is illegal.
What is really scary is they will ask you to pay them a "FINE" to get out of trouble. PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS! They will also offer to come to your home and collect the money. Just tell them you will report immediately to the nearest DEA office and turn yourself in because you husband/wife/uncle/mother or whoever is Law Enforcement and they will escort you there and you will find out they will say NO don't do that blah blah blah. It's so sad that these scammers from other countries are infiltrating our country and probably to fund terrorist operations. DO NOT under any circumstances give these people money.- Caller: SCAM

- *** in MA| 3 repliesGot a call today from a person purporting to be from the DEA. Blew him off, and he tried to sound official. Will have friend in law enforcement call the number back if he persists. Bunch of BULL.
- Caller: SCAM DEA
- *** in MA replies to *** in MA| 2 repliesUpdate: Go to http://www.deadiversion.usdoj.gov/offices_n_dirs/fielddiv/index.html and find the location of your local DEA office and the telephone number. Next time Jimmy Fox or Soxx or whatever the H*ll his name is calls, say the person whom he is looking for can be reached at this number - then give him the local DEA office number. Believe me, they will take a very dim view of him impersonating a law enforcement officer.
- *** in MA replies to *** in MA| 1 replyhttp://www.deadiversion.usdoj.gov/pubs/pressreleases/extortion_scam.htm DEA website has a link for this very extortion scam. Call and report them for impersonation of a law enforcement officer and get them shut down.
- n/a replies to *** in MAso I finally spoke to this guy and asked him what he wanted. Same thing some guy named Jimmy from dea and that I had ordered oxycodone in 2007 from a website.
