They identified themselves as "the State Troopers Association".  I don't believe they indicated what State, LOL.  Of course, they want me to believe it's Texas.  What I do believe though, is that any and all of these sorts of "money-raising" calls are just a scam.

I haven't researched and proved that though.  It's just a guess.

I blocked them anyway.

It is a scam and I reported them via the do not call registery

they just call and ask for my wifr then hang up dont like that kind stuff ill try to find out more about this phone #

they call from this number to my house and when I answer they hang up then I called back and always is a machine

They asked for my husband but did not identify themselves so my grandson said he wasn't home.

I called 1-800-307-3006 which is the number behind the 210-401-3151 caller's number.   They are called Statewide Appeal and say they are calling for the Texas State Troopers Association.   So, I googled Texas State Troopers Association and they confirmed that Statewide Appeal is a telemarketing group that does fundraising calls for the Texas State Troopers Association.  It is legitimate.  I didn't give them my credit card information by phone, but rather asked them to send me something in the mail.  It is only $15, so I will send a check.  This appears to be legit and I am willing to send $15 to help the Texas State Troopers.

Ready for a real mess: This number 210 401 3151 has gotten "crossed" with my home # - like it's an extension of my home #.  My brother has gotten several calls with my # showing up on his caller ID - but when he answers it this bunch from Statewide Appeal!   I've had AT&T out here at least a half dozen times and they've re-routed my line and everything but it's still happening!   I have unplugged all of my extensions - only have one phone hooked up in my house & it lights up saying "extension in use"

They call and when you answer, they hang up.  They've called 2-3 times just this week. That's when I decided to look up the number.  Our number is a do not call number but seems to do no good.  If they keep this up, I will report them to the authorities.

Also get calls from this number, and I don't answer the phone, and they don't leave a message on my answering system. Don't know what they want. I want them to stop calling.

I would incourage you to change all your numbers in order to stop them

It was a man said they were with the texas state troopers association and wanted donations and I hung up on them
