Reverse lookup comes to AT&T Mobile in San Antonio.  Moderate Spam activity suspected.  That's all I could get.  I am assuming they are gathering numbers for spamming so I blocked it.  They can call me all day now if they want to.

Get repeated calls as well stating they are inmy neighborhood attempting to sell insulation for my attick

Just received a call from 210-414-9978...of course I didn't answer hoping they would leave a message.  Nope!  "they" didn't...bunch of cowards!  I figure if they're the ones calling my number at least have the decency to leave a message!  IF I find it is important, I'll return the call; otherwise stop calling me!

Received a call and when I answered they hung up.

Caller ID Name = "GENENTECH INC".  I didn't recognize the number so I moved the phone out of ring mode, then hung up without talking to anyone.  The 210 area code implies a San Antonio source, but Genentech is a San Francisco based biotechnology company.  This caller appears to be spoofing his ID.  From the comments for above, I'm guessing the caller is building a list of valid phone numbers, and performing direct telemarketing.

They asked for me by full name, I said no and asked who it was they hung up

They immediately hung up when I answered

They called me, I answered there was a pause I said hello again, they said my last name and then I got disconnected.
