call today from this number -- my caller ID showed: Texas - 210-456-1815
no one answered when I said hello, couple of clicks, open line, then a guy
said, "USAA may I help you? " I said, "You called me, what do you want?"
He said, "We are just calling to see if you need to make any changes to
your spouses policies" and I said, "No we don't", he said, "it has been about
3 years and sometimes things change and you need to update your policies"
to which I replied, "Nothing has changed, no updates needed." He thanked
me, said to call if we needed anything and hung up. I believe these people
are trying to get account info -- USAA does not call it's policy holders like
that - you have to contact them and request the the service, they will sent you a letter in the mail but never call you so please be careful what you
tell these callers.
