Davo - 3 Sep 2008yeah they are a market research company in san antonio. I like to take the calls as they usually pay people pretty well to attend discussion groups.

It's just new class of telemarketers. I'm going to chew out the company that gave them my number.
They are just telemarketers all over again - this kind of harassment should never be tolerated.
My question is, in 2007 how big of a loser do you have to be to be working as a telemarketer?

I didn't answer it.
The caller didn't leave a message.
I started getting a bunch of junk telemarketer phone calls ever since I gave my phone number to Global Services, Inc. a few months ago.
I never got any junk calls before then, and my number is unlisted.

210-507-4450 just called back again today.
When I answered, they said they were "Galilee Research" and that they were "conducting a survey" for [a certain organization of which I'm a member].
(So, this particular junk call may not be the fault of Global Services, Inc.)
I told them never to call again.

TXGrandma - 29 Dec 2007They call me 2-3 times a day. I have politely and, also, rudely told them not to call. Tonight I had my spouse answer the phone. If his mother were still alive she would have used 2 bars of soap on him but it will be interesting to see if they call again.

tIMMY - 3 Sep 2008actually the do not call list does not apply to them as they are not telemarketers. They don't sell anything and they actually usually pay you for your time.
