Cell phone rang several times, caller id shows San Antonio. Since I don't know anyone there I let the call go to voice mail. No message left, must be a phone solicitor. Will block the number.

Same exact thing just happened to me too. I let it go to voicemail but they didn't leave a voicemail. I just called the number back & got a busy tone.

Answered, no response. Probably since I answered "papa johns pizza..."

Called me from 1-210-988-9943 twice back to back. Not even 10 seconds between the two calls. Then a third call from 1-210-538-9859 seconds later after the second call. No voicemail.

Also answered and no response.

This number shows up on all kinds of sites, 800Notes, WhoCallsMe, FindWhoCallsYou, and on our internal spam listings. Here, whomever is abusing that number has called here 48 times since Tuesday, and it's now Wednesday... and never leaves a message.

this SOB keeps calling and calling............whomever owns this number, I'd like to have 10 minutes in a dark room with you............see which one of us walks out

report these numbers to state attorney, FCC, etc. they do look into these reports
also contact your cell phone company they can sometimes block the number or help with tips

This is not the first time they tried to call me. About every month they call me with tons of numbers and it's starting to get to the point where I want to do something about it.

Spam caller; I reported to complaints.doNotCall.gov.

It AUTOMATICALLY-DOES-NOT-RING:  On my cell phone, I've installed "Call Blocker Free - Blacklist" by NQ Mobile Security for Android phones.  It is useful for non-business phones to only accept calls from phone numbers I want, incoming unwanted calls automatically do not ring  (rings on the spam caller end of the call, but not the recipient end and shows in the app instead of the phone call log).  I go to the app>Main screen>Funnel icon>Blocking mode> change it to:  "Accept ONLY FROM WHITELIST and CONTACTS".  Add the phone numbers you wish to receive calls from to your Contacts (keep your Contacts up-to-date as normal) and/or add non-contacts that you wish to receive a call from to the app Whitelist.  With my phone carrier service, I also turn voicemail OFF  so that it doesn't pickup a spam call after its set time to record.

UPDATE:  I'm liking "Call Blocker" by embware for Android phones  better for the same and additional capabilities.  It has the added ability to add a blocked non-spam number chosen from the blocked call log to the unblock-whitelist, with a name so I know the name associated with the phone number. And, it has the added ability to allow one-click-calling a whitelisted-allowed number.  If you want to download it from google play, it has a 'B' on a padlock icon. I change the call setting from "block private number" (hidden callerID) to allow "phonebook only" (only allow incoming calls from Contacts and Whitelist). It only works for Android version 4 or less.  The latest embware version changed to a 10-second delay to open (demo) but seemingly fully-working version.

Well that was dumb.  I usually don't answer calls from these 210 spammers, but this time I did because I am expecting a call from a shipping company that might have that area code.  I have added them all to a block list on my phone, and to blocked callers in youmail.com.  I just wish I hadn't answered it so now they know it is a live number.

I answered the call, but there was no response. Then, they hung up on me.

i live in san antonio and i don't recognize who this is. probably just telescummer.

Received a call from this number. Called it back.  They said the survey I was called from was finished and if I wanted to be removed from the calling list press #9.  I did so and was told I was removed from the list.
