Received 2 missed calls from "World Savings" as identified by my caller id. I have an account with the company, and I called their main number last week to ask the reason for their calls. A lady told that she doesn't see any reason for the calls. It's either a glitch or someone is calling pretending to be "World Savings"

Repeated calls everyday for a week at 2pm exactly. Asks for the wrong person, and gives me attitude when I say I am getting a repeated call to the wrong number.

Calling numerious times from 8am - 7pm, I called them back and asked to be taken off thier calling list.  They confirmed that my name and number was taken off and i recieved another phone call 40 min later from same #. Sad company sad tactics.  Do they think after all this i'm going to even consider business with them?

Give them a break.  It takes some time for them to get your number removed from all their dialing lists.  If you don't want calls from tele\marketers then don't give out your number to marketing promos, etc.  And get it unlisted.  Let me ask you, if Pizza Hut screwed up one time you ordered from them or even two, would you stop doing business with them?  Why do you insist on being so rude and smearing companies that are reputable and have a wonderful presence in this community on the FREAKIN INTERNET.  How would you like it if I spread crud about you around the net.

Well, that is not totally correct, because I never gave them anything, and they are calling me. I Have an unlisted number, and I Have never even heard of them before now. So, how do you think they got my info? That means your statement does not apply to everyone. I agree with the other poster poor tactics, so you need a different explanation for me!

Sometimes the numbers that you have are disconnected numbers of delinquent forclosure people.. the only way the numbers are taken off is if the actual borrower calls in and removes that number. Its not telemarketing and so they cant just take your number off a "list" because those are the contact numbers given by the borrower

I'm looking to refinance and filled out form on website LowerMyBills.com.  Figure the call is in response to that request.  Never heard of them, but nice to see they were bought by Wachovia, which I have heard of.

This is one of many numbers for the mortgage dept at world savings. This can mean that the call can originate from either marketing or customer service. The number is a general call center number for the San Antonio location. I leave this number on caller id when I call home and I work in the Final Documentation Dept. I primarily deal with Title companies, but I may call borrowers if there was an issue with thier mortgage and it has to be resigned. However, I agree marketing can be annoying ;-)
