They call more then 10 times a day. Every time asking for a different person. Told them numerous times that they must have wrong number, and yet they continue calling. I think they are trying to collect on debts from their customers. I respect that, but calling 15 times a day leaving no messages or empty messages with some background noise is not acceptable!

Yes! I just started getting these calls about a week ago, all at different times of day. Never picked them up, since I don't like answering unknown numbers (reading through all these responses, I'm glad I didn't; sounds like it's not worth my time to), so I Googled the number and found this site. Makes sense, but they've never started calling my cell for collections; this is definitely a new thing. I, too, can respect calling customers for collecting debt, but seriously. It's not acceptable to call and call and never leave a message at least. How annoying; I'm seriously thinking about canceling my card. At the very least, they should make sure their number should have some form of caller ID so people know who the heck is calling them up numerous times a day.

This is Chase...I have no accounts with them and get these hang up calls frequently....I returned their call and took their name and encouraged the call be recorded, informed them of above and requested they take off my number....repeat it to them.  They are supposed to remove it from their "dialer" - takes 24-48 hours to get rid of it....

I would call them back as adding it to the do not call list only stops it for solicating.  If they are trying to reach a person that has an account and your number is listed as a contact number they will continue to call.  I had to call back and have them remove the number from that account to stop the calls.

I was having the same issue, and I called the number back and just waited through all the prompts and spoke with a guy who gave me the 800 number to call to have it stopped.  I had to call twice as the first time they put it on the do not call list, but afterwards they called every 30 minutes.  I called back and she said that they had to place in the account for the customer calling that that is no longer there number and they remove that number from those records and the calls stop.  The number is 800-955-9900.  They have a really horrible phone system as I got disconnected twice as soon as a live person answered.  Good luck

Everytime I try to answer I hear nothing in the background so I hang up.  Thirty minutes to an hour they call back and do the same thing.  I wish they would leave a message or something.

I have received calls from this number for almost a year. One day as I was driving to school, I didn't look at the number and answered it. It was some Indian woman that couldn't even pronounce my name correctly asking for me to pay $1600 worth of debt that was not mine...She argued with me without any reason. I'm sorry, but I did not incur a debt that large on my credit card. I went home that night and looked on my statements and none of them showed a $1600 balance...something is wrong with these people. I still get phone calls from them, but I never answer. This is really annoying seeing how they call me Monday through Sunday from 7AM-12PM...I would like to enjoy my sleep!

One option...turn off your phone...another, call them and insist the call be recorded, give them your phone number and take their names....if you don't owe them money, they shouldn't be harrassing you....feel free to use the word with them...

They just started calling me this past weekend and they call about every hour. I did manage to talk to someone and they asked if i had a platinum visa card... which i don't.  Then they wanted the last 4 digits of my ssn to make sure i didn't.  I told them no and hung up... and they called about every 15 mins after that for the next 2 hours.

The callers identify themselves as Chase Bank.  I have made several requests not to call my number as it is a new business line.  Apparently they are attempting to reach the individual whom previously had this number.  Spoke with someone named Olivia, advising her that this number is a new line and requesting the calls to be stopped, she started arguing with me regarding my request.  I asked to speak with a Manager, and was told a Manager is not available per someone named Lily.  They would not provide an address of the division or any additional individuals Managing the offices.  When calling the number back, the phone is answered with no greeting, just background noise.  I am placing a call into the President of Chase Bank to resolve and will update in a future email.

I was recieving the calls several times a day on my work line as well. I would answer, they would hang up. I wouldn't answer and let it go to voicemail and they wouldn't leave a message. I called the number back and put in the following acct# 1234567890, Emilio answered, I asked immediately to speak to a manager. I never gave my name. A manager by the name of "Marge" came on the line, I explained the situation and she asked for my office number, and I gave it to her. I was placed on hold and she came back stating they were trying to reach "Terrance Gilbert". Never heard of him and explained that to her, she stated they would take the number off their list. I'll have to wait and see.
