This guy is trying to rip off those who place for sale ads on craigslist says he will pay using paypal then asks for your personal information, says he will send a "courier" to pick up the goods...Hes a thief.

I received a similar text message regarding a Craig's List posting stating he wanted to buy my unit using a Pay Pal acct. Also said he would use a private carrier.

I received a text from this number trying to buy my vehicle on craigs list. He also said that he was having a private courior to pick up.  Thanks for warning me about this scam.~ Shon.

Same thing happened to me.  He "demanded" that I western union money to the courior for him and he would add it to the amount he sends through PayPal.  I don't think so!!!

The "person" texted me at 11:30 last night, wanting me to send him recent pictures to his private email address @ peterpl136@gmail.com, i just replied to his text and said all the info you need is on the website.

The "person" texted me @ 3:02 on 06/13/12, wanting me to send him recent pictures to his private email address @ peterpl136@gmail.com.  Didn't respond to his text.

I got a txt from this number too and he said he was going to send me the money via paypal and I said okay then my account would not let me because of security purposes, so then I googled it and thanks to you I saved myself from being scamed. I wish people would get a real job.

Been dealing with the same guy this morning. Sent me txt MSG wanting pics emailed to him. He responded saying he wanted to pay via PayPal and would send a courier for the truck. I txt him back and said I forwarded everything to my police department.

If my mode of payment is accepted just send me your paypal email address,(Paypal ID) so i can pay in right away. Make sure you get back to me so that i can make the payment. I have a private courier agent that will come for the pick up after payments has been made, so no shipping included. And if you don't have a paypal account, you can easily go to www.paypal.com and sign up. its very easy. I await your reply asap

We responded that the pics were recent and that he could make us an offer to which they replied "Asking for your final price?"

Same thing happened to me. Just had to use the rule of thumb "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is" Go figure. Thanks you all for posting so I know for sure its a fraud.

Just got a text from the same number and peterpl136@gmail.com. I researched his address and then I found you. I will delete his text right now.

Same here.  Several messages wanting my lowest price and current pictures (those are the current pictures on craigslist stupid.  contact him with my paypal account and he'll send a private courier to pick up.

I got the same email too, about me responding quickly and him sending a private courier to pick it up and will be more money than I was asking because he was too busy and wanted my paypal address.  So I emailed him back this response

"Thanks for your swift response as well...it's so rare to find such nice people that are swift...haha :)...cool man. soo cool.
But unfortunately I find your offer is unacceptable, because how are you going to give me a [***] if you can't meet me in person.  I don't want a BJ from your private courier, I want it from the guy buying from me...which is you.  The price is $8000 cash in hand + [***]. NOT $8,150....through paypal.  How can I make it "rain" with digital paypal money?

This is just a very intuitive guess, but I bet you are truly amazing at giving a [***].  Do you do it part time or full time? You must... since you say you are soo busy to come for inspection. That's the only occupation in the world that doesn't give people time to do other things. Giving awesome bj's to awesome people that are better than you all day and night... O Derek... you silly silly boy you.  I guess everyone has something they are really good at... good for you man.  Sometimes you just gotta take a break from that...life is too short to be to busy all the time to enjoy the finer things...
