They are trying to get you to convert to UPS

UPS - They never leave voice mail  - I call back and need an extension??

This guy just called me and identified himself as a UPS person. I am grateful that there were other complaints already logged in. I was able to look up his phone number right while he was on the phone and got off.

just got a call from this number to my business phone no voice message called twice within one minute

This was UPS.  It was the Sales division and it was my UPS account rep calling back on a request for information I'd made a week earlier.  Nothing scary here, folks.

i JUST got off the phone with them. Identified himself as a UPS guy who's in charge of my account i recently opened with them. Even if it is inside sales, nothin scary or harmful.

Received a call but whoever it was did not leave a message.

I confirmed it was UPS Customer Service calling about a business account I requested through that company.  It's a legitimate call.

Caller said he was from UPS and was calling about an account we recently opened.  We have NOT opened an account with UPS.  Matter of fact, we never use UPS as we prefer FedEx and get a discount at FedEx.  Not legitimate.

Call is legitimate.

Was leary at first, but he knew my account number, recent shipping history and even the weights of my recent packages.

Only thing I wish is he would have emailed me his info as I requested as I was driving when he called.

UPS Account Manager, Sent me supplies for my existing UPS Account.

UPS war-room telemarketing.

NOT legitimate.  NOT responding to any "request" I, or anyone at my company made.

Calls every day from different numbers.  Sometimes leaves a message, sometimes doesn't.

The folks in the messages above who report "nothing scary here, folks" are full of it.  

I don't have an account with UPS, made NO request to the local driver and do NO SHIPPING from my business.  Why UPS thinks I need to be called every day is beyond me & I'm tired of getting these calls.  But, since they just move to a different outbound number, blocking the calls does no real good.

I recently opened a UPS account for my business and this was an account manager. I didn't answer the call, but he left a message with his name, wanting to get the account set up for business shipping, find out the best shipping prices for my needs, contact number, etc. This is legitimate.

Facts:
Received call from 201-706-1707 on my Verizon wireless.  The UPS rep left a message.

Just received a call from 210-706-1707.  The gentlemen identified himself as my new account rep.  He started asking me a lot of questions.  When I questioned why he did not already have this information he stated he was a third party service.  No warm fuzzy feelings here.

I did not answer but they left messages. guy said he was calling me about a ups account that I had opened up. and he would try again.
Good luck as I am not going to answer if he does.

Called our office, but no one was on the line when I answered -- just silence. Caller ID listed the number and "UPS".

I chatted with this guy for a while.  I *do* have a newish UPS account for a new business.  He was asking detailed questions about our shipping, and the data would have been useless to a legitimate shipper.  He was undeterred when I told him that he was preventing me from making money -- he stayed with his script -- so I hung up.  I'm going to follow up with UPS and see what they have to say.
