This person went by the name of Kelly and says she is an employee of a business called Litigations Services. I was threatened with having "charges* filed and downloaded to local sheriff's department if I didn't give my bank account information to take care of a cash payday loan that I never even received.I was told that a payment had been attempted to be made from my checking account on October 23 and payment was denied by my bank. When I checked with my bank, I was told that everything had been paid for October and nothing had been returned.  When I requested written documentation and for specific information regarding her claim - i.e. the company name, loan amount, date this alleged loan occurred, I was refused to be given any information. I was told the affidavit was 300 pages long. I was told I had to make payment arrangements by the end of the day or else. I contacted the local sheriff's department and was told by a deputy that he had complaints about this company before and not to be giving out any bank account information, which I had not done. I also contacted my attorney and was advised to ask for written documentation and if I was refused then to tell them to "sue me" and then they would have to provide written documentation in court. This is not a criminal matter as they tried to lead me to believe but strictly a civil issue which at worst case scenario, would be resolved by them suing me.

Was contacted by Nicole Rettler from Pre-Trial Intervention supposedly...for a payday loan that I did take out.  I contacted payday loan company, they would never turn anyone to this pre-trial place.  Hmmm.  Said I only owed $500. Per Nicole, I owe over $1000, including a $298 processing fee.  And of I don't pay, they are sending someone with a subpeona and warrant for a felony.  She couldn't give me any info on anything about the case.  Mind you, I'm freaking out about this thinking I'm really going to be arrested or something.  Per payday loan company, nothing to worry about as long as I stick with my small payments to them.  Nicole calls back today to tell me her number/ext had changed and that I had tried to contact her over the weekend.  I did not.  I could hear several other callers in the background (sounded like a call center).

No such thing as "pre-trial intervention."  Scam all the way.

I got the same exact call from Pre-Trial Interventions. The lady who was on the phone her name was Nicole Rottler, She had said that they were going to the court house that exact day to issue an warrant for my arrest and that i was going to be considered a felon. And that if i didn't pay $360 right at the moment to stop the process from going to the courts. She sounded really convincing. So i had asked her who was filing it against me and she wouldn't say. She then started to repeat old information about me from a previous job that i haven't worked at in years. So i knew that was a red flag. So while i was on the phone with her. I googled her number and several of these articles pop up saying its a scam. So I tell her why is her number popping up as a scam. She then tried to tell me that this was no scam that it was legit. I told her that she needed to mail me a copy of what they are going to file to prove that this is real. And she just hung up the phone on me. Its a total scam. I have been recieving so many calls from people who are trying to scam me. Here are the numbers that i got from that lady that could be also part of the scam. 210-714-2592, 210-812-2583

This makes me sick.  I was really scared and upset and believed it until I calmed myself down and did some research.  It sounded fishy to me at first, but yes...she was somewhat convincing.

I received phone calls repeatedly between the middle to late June to early July from this 210-714-2592 where a woman threatened me with legal action that can lead to my arrest either at home or at work.  I asked repeatedly for copies and they claim they would mail me copies  only to this day I still have not received any copies.  Because I felt threaten by this Litigation Services I felt compelled to pay the first payment out of 970. with a 200 plus 20 dollar fee and another 150 plus 20 dollar fee.  I do not really know what to do here.  I do think I am being scammed.  

I got a call from a jennifer sims at 210-774-4246. She i had to pay 850 bucks for a loan i never received from advance america back in november 2012. I checked my account to see if i received it back then. I didnt. There just trying to get your money.

Scam got the exact same phone call had all my into.Sounded legitimate till I thought about it a minute.Even had  my Bank name ss number birth date and address.

Thank God I didn't get scared I to it either ! I knew I took care of all my loans ..

I got the phone call from 210-714-2592 they told me that I took a payday lone and didn't pay .I don't need pay day loan in my life and the Amt they say is $300.00 I have my own business and I am sure I naver took that loan .
  But they say that if I don't pay 1700.00 with the fees they will issue the warrant on me . Her name is miss belly ( beatch) if I get ur  ass I will issue the warrant on ur ass making people fraud and taking their money

Just received a call from Chase Johnson stating I owed over $1,000 for a payday loan to Advance America.com - Stated I received it on 3/19/13....Never ever dealt with a company by this name nor never received the $374.00 they say was sent to my bank..This is a fraud.  They have threatened to file warrant and contact local sheriff office. Spoke to Local Sheriff dept. and they told me not to give out any info what so ever.

I am getting calls from a (210) 714-2592 saying that I owe a pay day loan I went as far as going to my bank and asking them about it. Theny told me that it is probably a scam. Well they sure have me upset telling what bank I go to and where I live. Someone needs to stop these people trying to get scam and get money from people. But when I was asking her questions she couldn't tell me anything and she said that the lawyer was always in court and that he would call me back when you got out.

I received the same call- pre-trial litigation. Threatened me or my lawyer to call. I tried to google the number on whitepages.com and it does not show up.

this is the 6th phone number they have called me from because I keep blocking their numbers, lol. I know it is a scam and I called them out notifying them I complained to the FBI scam and fraud and she got an attitude and said "well tough [***] cause we are gonna keep calling you so report that!" then slammed the phone down. I am trying a new approach now, I have registered under the national do not call registry in which in theory all telemarketers and scams are not supposed to call you while you are on this list and if so you can file complaints against them, not sure if it helps or not but it is worth a try!

ABSOLUTE LIE!!!  Please don't fall for these people's threats, intimidation, etc.  Its ALL FALSE!  Even *if* you've taken out a payday loan before, THIS IS NOT THAT!!!

I've never taken a payday loan, and this is NOT the first "round of random threats" accusing me of taking a payday loan, etc. AGAIN, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO, THEY'VE ALREADY STOLEN ENOUGH OF YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS, DON'T GIVE THEM BANKING OR CREDIT CARD INFO!!!  

Example of most recent batch of calls:
"...ANTHONY BOWERS with PRE-TRIAL INTERVENTION...you have a PENDING CASE in our office....if you or your attorney do not immediately call this number back, I will document that you have WAIVED YOUR RIGHT TO ?COUNCIL/COUNSEL? AND SUBMIT YOUR CASE.  PLEASE CONDUCT YOURSELF ACCORDINGLY."

***Sound familiar???***   I'll say these people are getting more clever...in the past, it was always someone with a thick Indian accent, ending the calls with things such as: "...may God have mercy on your soul."   or  "...if you ignore this, may you be prepared for whatever unfolds on your head."  

But still, IGNORE!!!!   Speaking from prior experience, now this, (it seems to come in "rounds"...like if you suddenly get 1 or 2, you'll probably get others even from different numbers; I thought I had long ago chased these people off, but nope, they are back, pulling the same scam--with American voices this time--but its the same crap!)...and I'm very close friends with my city's Police Sargent...he can't help but laugh when he hears of these, because they are SO FREQUENT!  
And when I say "Why do they keep doing this junk?"
Simple answer: "Because, if OBVIOUSLY works!  Somebody somewhere will hand over money out of fear. Its like new-age 'robbery.'"  

IF you've actually been talked into paying them ANYTHING, immediately contact your bank AND your local Police Department with any information you have.  Its your only chance at recovering any money they took from you.  And, sadly, chances are if they haven't already, they WILL take more money than you "authorized" them to do!  BEWARE!!!

Called many times on my under age daughters phone.  Clearly she never had a loan.  Don't fall for this.  Total scam  and they hung up on me when I called back and told them to stop.

Name used today was Anthony Bowers @ Pre-trial Intervention-leaves message saying if you or your attorney don't call today will file charges showing you refused. They were calling every day for months then stopped for a while & started again this week.  Has used different names in the past. I refuse to answer this number & they leave threatening messages every time
