Received call saying they were from thr IRS and were filing a lawsuit against me and wanted more information. Note: the government would never try to call you but contact you through US mail.

Call on answering machine. A woman said "this call is to inform you that the IRS is filing suit against you. Please call this number for information on this case, 210-714-7770 immediately."

Called on a Saturday morning at 6AM answered the phone and could hardly hear what the women was saying. Hung up and went back to bed. Very rude people.

Have gotten a lot of calls from a San Antonio TX number where the automated voice says the IRS is filing a law suit against me.  The call back number is 210-714-7770.  Ha ha, the IRS and my husband have been in constant contact because someone used our ss#s to file their tax returns.  Luckily we are pursuing a fraud issue.  So, if the IRS were suing me, the real person on the other end of the phone would have said so.

Automated call saying I've won a cruise... right!

I got 2 calls from this number.  last week they claimed to be the irs and then I informed them that I am an attorney.  after that, he started laughing hysterically and told me, "fine we'll take all your money!" and hung up.  tonight the caller told me that I won a cruise and I entertained the call.  in order to collect the cruise, i'd have to give them my full name, a credit card number (so that they could pay the taxes and book a hotel room for me at the port).  She assured me that the charges would never be posted to my card but they had to have it to make the reservation.  I asked her which cruise line and the itinerary...she said whichever one I wanted and she'd throw in the airfare if I needed.  I couldn't keep my cool any longer and started laughing...she hung up.

This number calls my work number everyday and NO one is there, they just hang up after I answer the phone.  I've been wanting to call it back to see who or what it is, but after reading every ones comments, I think I'll hold off.  I would block this number if I could figure out how.  New phone system.
