I did not get a call from this #, but I have a charge on my bank card that I did not make. The bank gave me this phone # to call. I did not get anyone to talk to, the massage said to go to the web site. But did not give the address of the web site. I don't know who they are so don't know what site to got to. I had to cancel my card and fell out papers to take charges off my account. The info. from the bank says Tem Plate Globus. 210-807-4272, with a reference #

I had the same thing happen to me. It was a bogus charge on 12/9/07 for $9.87 from templateglobus.com. Seems to be happening to multiple people as I saw this same issue on this thread: http://dpchallenge.com/forum.php?action=read&FORUM_THREAD_ID=713850&page=1.

Best of luck in getting your charges straightened out, Jazzy. Whoever this guy is, he seems to be ripping a lot of people off and I hope he doesn't get away with stealing anyone else's money.

Same thing happened on my credit card.  It is a credit card not a debit card.  my cc company has removed the charge and referred it to their fraud dept.  I have contacted FBI and suggest all victims do the same.

I was stung by this too.  On 12-28-07 I received a charge on my credit card for $9.87.  It appeared on my bill as Imaglobus.com 210-807-4272 Tx

I have reported to the FBI, canceled my credit card, emailed imaglobus for a refund, and filled out papers with my credit card company.

Hopefully the Feds will find these perps and justice will be served.

A fraudulent charge was made to my bank accounty by picturesglobus.com. My credit card company spotted it before I did and they shut down my account. However, somebody at pictureglobus was trying to open a new account under my name!

Hey everyone.  Ok, this happened to me today also.  My question to everyone would be, what do we all have in common?  This was also done on my husband's card.  The only thing he really orders online are supplements.  Anyone else?  It seems that it would have to be from a site that we've all had in common and ordered something from!  Thoughts anyone?

My bank is crediting the $9.87 but we do have to cancel the card and all.

$9.87 from PROPHOTOSLAND.COM on a Bank of America credit card. The number listed (609-916-0040 NJ) was disconnected when I called. I reported it as a fradulent charge to my credit card company and to the FBI website. I cancelled my credit card.

A search on Google produced multiple chat sessions and blogs on the scams of templateglobus.com and pictureglobus.com, etc, and this site/person has been reported to the Better Business Bureau and FBI numerous times. I have personally spoken to the FBI credit fraud specialist assigned to this scam and they are eager for more info. If you have experienced the same scam, just go direct to the FBI after reporting to local police, don't waste much time with local police, as the FBI are the ones compiling evidence against it to have a sufficient case, not local police. Good luck! Together we will bring this scam down!

Please do not Dispute Charges as that is the wrong option to choose. A Dispute is to be only used for when you actually purchased an item from a Web Site or a Brick/Mortar Store merchant. This is a Fraudulent Charge and you want to report it as a Fraud and not let the company refund you. You want the Credit Card company to "charge back" the amount which hits the Fraudulent Web Site's merchant account with a hefty charge back fee and after enough charge backs are recorded, they close the Merchant Account preventing the crooks from any further processing of stolen credit card data. It shuts them down.

Remember to never Dispute even if that is what your Bank or Credit Card wants as that allows 30 days for the crook to refund your money and keep stealing from others as a Dispute isn't seen as Fraud. Always report as a Fraudulent Charge in order to have the charge back hit in 24 hours or less PLUS get new cards as your old credit card data is compromised.

I got the same charge on my credit card on Dec 24th and found this site by Google.  I called Visa and they credited my account and sending a letter to the company regarding the false charge and to charge me again.  I didn't want to call the number in case they just take the rest of your personal data.  Great site this is, have to check it out more.

ok folks-  watch out for this same charge from a pictureglobus.com they use the same phone # 210-807-4272 & it is for same amount 9.87- I think they are only hitting visa & mastercard right now.  just watch your statements.   Called your credit card company as soon as you notice charge. Do not let it wait! looks like small charge but the credit card companies need to be on the look out for it.
